My wife and I are regular and we live in the neighborhood. The restaurant serves high quality Mexican cuisine. I love pretty much everything, but my favorite are beef taco plate, burrito plate, and enchiladas.
My husband and I went here, the first time for me, yesterday and I was blown away. The pollo crema poblano enchiladas were to die for. The ceviche was fresh and everything has a great presentation... Not something you normally expect when going for Mexican fare. Our waiter was great and very helpful. Can't say enough about this hidden gem. New favorite so don't miss out!

Not my thing I guess
As a vegan I haven’t had much luck with good Mexican food but El Nuevo Mexicano completely changed my mind. The margs we’re fantastic, salsa was fresh, and the vegan fajitas were amazing! The soy protein was seasoned so well and the veggies were plentiful. Guac, beans, rice; everything was phenomenal. So happy to know such yummy Mexican vegan options exist here! Great stuff
The service was great and quick seeing that it was pride weekend. The staff are friendly and knew the menu well enough to recommend great food! Delicious drinks I highly recommend the mojito and piña colada.

Lovely Mexican restaurant with plentiful vegan options! I got the chicken chimichangas, chips and salsa, and the agave nectar margarita. Loved everything about my meal and highly recommend the chimichangas! Can’t wait to try more of the menu
Order the enchiladas veracruzana! The mole sauce is so rich and complex and the plantain filling is a perfect match, soaking up the sauce and adding a sweetness. Margarita was also delicious and the service was outstanding. The guacamole was the freshest I’ve ever had!
The service is friendly and fast. They have a quaint patio in the back cutely decorated. The patio is just big enough to safely social distance. The food is tasty: we tried the vegan fajitas and the vegan enchiladas. Both dishes were splendid. The margaritas are a perfect evening cap. All and all, a very recommendable spot!
Went for Cinco de Mayo at night. Our party of 2 was seated in 10 minutes. Restaurant maximizes seating, as the tables were a bit close and there are 2 sides. There was a live Mariachi band playing! Enchiladas and pomegranate margaritas were delicious. Although they were packed, speed of service was good. Will come back!

OMG the food and drinks were fantastic, fresh, and full-bodied. They have a variety of menu selections to meet the needs of the customers. The staff were knowledgeable and accommodating. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. The restrooms were clean and stocked. I highly recommend El Nuevo Mexicano.
I eat here way too much! So many vegan Mexican options, which is uncommon. The vegan burritos are my favorite, and the presentation is the best! The quinoa rice is so unique and still has the Mexican flavor to it. Love!
