This is not your average Japanese Express place. Little Tokyo has perfected hibachi style everything. You can't go wrong with the menu! Best teriyaki and shrimp sauces of all the places I've been to. They make them in house and it truly sets them apart. You can't beat this place! Charlotte is lucky to have them!
1st time at this new restaurant, and was VERY happy with everything. We came early on a weekday, and was waited on quickly by an extremely friendly and attentive waiter (missed his name). This is not your traditional Hibachi steak house where they prepare the meal in front of you and you sit with 4 other couples. I think I prefer it this way, without the show. Food was delicious and plentiful. I had the "Tokyo", which had a little of everything (steak, chicken, scallops, shrimp, veggies). Highlight had to be the dessert...deep fried Oreos (a first for me) and a scrumptious cheesecake. Really appreciate the owner/cook taking the time to come out and speak with us. I have a feeling this will be a regular stop for us.
This place is AWESOME! My family & I have been eating at the Albemarle locations for years. I highly recommend this restaurant hands down! You can't beat the lunch prices.
Best hibatchi we have found. Great fresh veggies. Nice clean atmosphere. Service was also awesome. Highly recommend.
