I’ve been to a lot of Buffalo Backers Bars in my day and this is up there with the best whether north or south! Love the atmosphere, the food and the people working there. Highly recommend “The Tavern”, for anyone that’s looking to have fun for game time or any time! Go Bills and Go Sabres!! And if you like Michigan for college sports it’s great also 😉.
The food and atmosphere was great and so was Tiffany! Had a great time and can't wait to visit again on my next trip. Would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting
My New Hang Out. I recently moved to the South End area and have been to Tavern on the Tracks a couple times. Both the food and service are great with a broad pub style menu which goes way beyond the typical burger and wings specialties of most places. The beef on weck sandwich is one of the best roast beef sandwiches I have ever had, try it with pepper cheese it is awesome. I was also surprised to see toasted ravioli on the appetizer menu. This dish is a rare find in the Carolinas coming from my home town St. Louis where it was a staple with most places. The ribs are great as well. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are large and a good value for the money. This place is my new go to hang out.
Lunch with co-workers. This place is inexpensive and convenient for lunch with your co-workers if you work in the uptown Charlotte area. I wouldn't make a special trip here with my family or anything, but I've always had good lunches. The service we've received has always been decent as well. Nothing special, but it's definitely not as bad as some of the other reviews that I've read. I've been going here for 2 years off & on with co-workers and its one of the places we choose when we can't think of anywhere new we want to try.
Best Sports Bar/Restaurant in Charlotte!. Tavern on the Tracks has become a real treat for my husband and me to go to. The food is excellent and the service is always on point. We have thoroughly enjoyed the staff's consistent friendliness. In Charlotte there are a lot of "All American" places that you can go to but this one stands out to us as the best around. We can't wait to go back!!
If your looking for typical bar food and great place to watch some sports and shoot the shit with friends this is a great place! Especially if you're a Buffalo Bills or Buffalo Sabres fan! Great place to go watch either of the teams play but definitely recommend getting their very early if going to watch a game to grab a seat. Fills up fast. Great outside patio with the warmer weather. Great wings! Typical bar service nothing fancy. Overall great little bar to go to and grab a quick bite to eat.

Food is great! Giant Chicken Salad with the chicken tossed in your choice of sauce, and the Philly cheese steak is amazing (I added blue cheese to mines) comes with A1 sauce.. smh Took it to a whole... Nuvah... Level!!
Good pub food. Fun Bills Backers bar. DJ played all night during the commercial breaks (during the Bills game). Was a loud house party atmosphere. If your a Buffalo native, the hot wings are Duff's mild.
It's Ya guy Rah with another review!! Let me tell you... If you're looking for something to munch on that's not too heavy and just right, these are the Goldie Locs of Tots! Like an Americana lasagna these tots are layered with cheese, chili and bacon! Too good (especially with a ranch or blue cheese on the side) If this doesn't do it for you, grab the Loaded Tower of Tots! It will not disappoint, the kitchen puts it down! Buyer beware if using a Debit card (I will get to that later in the review). First off, we were just there last night. We basically just order a variety of appetizers that were shared among 6 adults with a few adult beverages. Our tab was roughly $120-140 we had it split 4 way (which we requested BEFORE she prepared the check) The food was great. We liked every item we ordered. Large variety of menu offerings. All American fare pub-style food. My only issues were that there were no physical menus everything had to be seen by scanning QR code. Which I fully understand that is becoming the norm. However, The server was not very knowledgeable of the food and/or bar menu especially when we just wanted to ask quick questions without having to open up our phones and scroll thought the many,many menu items to find what you were looking for. I actually like the idea but of scanning a code . But, my experience tells me that QR codes are much more efficient for smaller, easier to navigate menu selections and when the server actually knows the menu and can answer questions. But, Here is the “kicker” of our experience—- They also charge a CARD FEE!! What the HELL is a freaking card fee in 2023?? On my $35 check they charged a $1.03 card fee. I have no idea what it meant and didn’t bother to ask the server (simply because she couldn’t answer any of our other questions).I mean, it was only $1, I get it but we had no idea of the fee and to me it seems like an unnecessary fee. What? Would they have rather us pay cash when we couldn’t even have an actual menu? Seems like they favor the digital business model but then penalize the customer for it? Give me back the menu and I will gladly pay cash if a card is such an inconvenience or too expensive of an offering. Maybe I missed the notification of a card fee somewhere in the endless scrolling of looking for something to eat. Post your fees where they can be seen BY ALL!! And at least 1 menu for tables that request it, PLEASE! Not everyone is open to having phones out when they are trying have a meal with friends/family!
Amazing bartenders. And really good food. The atmosphere is great always amazing music playing. Great place to just unwind and have a couple beers and some snacks.
Tavern on the Tracks is my go-to spot for a late-night bite in Southend. Located right behind the brickyard. Tavern works as a spot that anyone can go to and not have to worry too much about the usual south-end crowd.
My only issue with it is that your order will get sent to the wrong seat on occasion because of their ticket system at the bar.
Great place to watch the football game and you can typically always grab a seat or table.
The Wings are solid, I recommend the lemon and pepper. The mixed drinks are less expensive than across the street but just as good if not better.
I pass by this bar all of the time. I finally decided to patronize. I went to watch the Boston vs Phila game and it’s was game 7 rangers vs devils. The people were friendly the staff were patient. I did not have expectations of a certain standard for my experience, but i can take away that this is a great sports bar, it has a welcoming feel to it. I can say that you must park down the street because there is limited parking and it’s about 12 bucks. Just a heads up. Overall good experience.
Great Buffalo sports bar with outdoor back patio.
Probably my favorite wings in the Charlotte area. Haven't tried much else on the menu but others I've at with have liked the sandwiches/burgers. Drinks are usually pretty cheap. It is a Buffalo Bills bar and University of Michigan bar so it'll be busy on gamedays.
