Can’t believe we had never come here before. Amazing sandwiches, very generous with the amount, cooked to order, comes out hot and non of our fried items were greasy. Delicious. Will come here again to try other things. The ONLY negative is that they are not very warm and fuzzy and all about business but that’s ok when your quality is that great.
Went for lunch yesterday off of a recommendation from a friend. Food was excellent especially for the price. Had spicy fried whiting (seasoned to perfection, nicely portioned), greens were dare I say perfect, fries nice and crispy and soft on inside, mac and cheese tasty but I prefer a fully baked option, banana pudding good (I'd like more cookies though).Service outstanding, I enjoyed the music selection, atmosphere was clean, we were seated and eating hot fresh food within 8-10 minutes tops. Only issue I could mention is that the chairs seemed a little small other than that I highly recommend this spot and will be returning for sure! Thank you!
I ordered the Shrimp and Flounder Basket-4.0, and my person had a Shrimp and Catfish Poboy-4.5. Both were really fresh and well seasoned; going to ask for the sandwich roads be toasted next time. They have their own Tartar and Cocktail Sauces which is a nice touch. The service was fast and pleasant, the kitchen was clean and the staff was respectful of each other. Those things may seem small , but they definitely impact the atmosphere and experience of an establishment. Definitely will go back...4.5 overall.
The food was really good. Everything was so fresh and well seasoned. The staff was quite welcoming and pleasant to interact with.
I will say that I was a bit disappointed with the setup and layout of the self-service area for the drinks, utensils, and garbage. It was kind of a clumsy layout, which was challenging to navigate -- and I visited when there wasn't much of a crowd.
I'll definitely be back, though. The friendly staff and great food are well worth the trip.
Place my orders over the phone and they are always nice. Hush puppies are amazing, fish & shrimp seasoned perfectly, fries could use more seasoning though. Overall great food.
This was my second time at Skrimp Shack and I must say the Pineville service is amazing. We were greeted with smiles and the cashier/hostess was extremely friendly and helpful. While the food was good, the chicken sandwich was not hot at all. It missed some flavor. I had their schrimp and fish sandwiches before and would pick them over the chicken anytime. The Mac and cheese were out of this world and we were speechless when we had the Nana Puddin! So sweet, creamy and flavorful. I’ll come again but next time for the fish!
The place was busy which was expected for their opening week. With the crowd they managed things well. The fish, shrimp and hush puppies were good - not greasy at all. The breading/batter was a little salty. A low salt breading would be a nice option. Maybe with the mad rush someone was just heavy handed with the salt today. The portions are large so go hungry or be prepared to take some home. You can dine in - they have about 16 tables available. The sandwiches seemed to be popular.
Cute place. They were short-handed, and the pop machine was broke. We waited 30 mins for food, but it was really delicious. I'd go back just based on the food. A lot of people were picking up carry outs, and I think they knew the trick to getting around the slow service.

Ordered the fried fish platter and it came with a side so I added and other side and the 6 shrimp. Food was delicious and the amount of food for the price was great. Would deff return, the fries,Mac and cheese were really good.
