Muffins are great and coffee is pretty good! I ordered a sandwich off the menu the other day and it came totally different than advertised. It was not good and I was bummed. Get the muffin instead
I got a Black Friday sandwich on sourdough, quite good. It was great as advertised, Turkey, Brie, and cranberry relish. In my family we call it Thanksgiving on a bun and add a slice of dressing… makes a superior sandwich. It was good, don’t get me wrong, just not as good as my mom. (:
Have wanted to try Sunflour forever! Finally made it in. Went around brunch on a Friday and there was plenty of parking out back and seating inside/out. Ordered the #6 Sunny’s Special and a mocha iced latte. Everything was delicious.
I love sunflour! Their coffee is amazing, and their food is even better. I love their baked goods. My favorite thing to get is one of their sandwiches on a croissant. Their croissants are so buttery and flaky. Great atmosphere too!
We love Sunflower Baking! We frequent the spot in Harrisburg and wanted to check out this location! Inside seating is small but so cute. Plenty of outdoor seating for families with pups. The food is always delightful and the employees were working so hard to get to everyone (this place is def busy - may I suggest ordering ahead) taken care of! We would recommend to coffee drinkers and baker fans alike! Bathrooms here are disgusting tho… super gross… and it took 30 minutes for one sandwich.
Really enjoyed this bakery! I'm always on the hunt for "the best" almond croissant when I travel and while this one wasn't "it", it was a really solid pastry. I also got a gluten free carrot muffin and really enjoyed that. The rest of the group got breakfast sandwiches and coffee, plus a cinnamon roll - all of which they were really pleased with!
It was busy when we went and it's a small interior space, so if you want a table for more than 2-3 people you'll want to go early. There's also a good space for outdoor seating!
While we were visiting Charlotte my wife chose this bakery. It fulfills her sweet tooth and my appetite for savory. I was skeptic but found a sandwich that I wanted, The Club she had the cheddar biscuit with egg, ham and cheese, then we had ordered a cinnamon roll.
I have to say the club I ordered was filled with turkey and ham, almost so much it was hard for me to take a bite. The sandwich was amazing, I enjoyed and finished feeling very satisfied. My wife’s cheddar biscuit with egg, ham and cheese was great too. Too full to try the cinnamon roll at that very moment. We drove back to Charleston, SC so I waited until we got home to try the cinnamon roll and to my dismay I was disappointed... disappointed that now I have to drive 3 hours to get the awesome cinnamon roll!!!
We really liked Sunflour. The staff was attentive. It’s a small shop and they do not serve bagels (Incase you were wondering like we were) but the coffee and pastries are awesome! We will definitely be back.
This was my second visit. To be a small, intimate place, I haven't found the staff to be very warm. However, the baked goods I've tasted are delicious. The muffin I pictured is called the morning glory and it is yum yum! The croissants are HUGE! The signage could be a bit larger in the cases. I will return!
It’s a decent spot! I’ve had their coffee a few times and feel as though I have enough data to say it’s not that great.
Their muffins are really good. Just not very impressed with their coffee. In a pinch Id still come here though.
But if you’re looking for a treat of coffee, maybe try else where! No offense. Really great location. There’s parking. seating inside. Very accommodating service.
