My wife and I had dinner here the other night and were blown away!
The service was outstanding and the food even better. I had the Veal Saltimbocca which is in a ravioli and it was one of the best meals I have ever had. It hit all the best points of a Saltimbocca and yet as a pasta was all the better. And my wife had the Scallops which has a risotto; it was equally as amazing but much lighter in flavor than mine and the server suggested different glasses of wine to compliment the dish instead of us getting a bottle and he was so right because his recommendations were perfect for the dishes.
We will be back!!!!
I had a wonderful dinner at Vivace this weekend. We sat upstairs which has an amazing view and is very lovely. The food was delicious, I had the salmon which was divine and my sister had a gluten-free flatbread which made her happy to have a "pizza" which is a rarity with her dietary needs. Also the staff was great and we will be back!
If you want to impress someone with the perfect combination of ambiance & amazing food Vivace is the place to be! Gnocchi, veal, & gelato with chocolate cake & graham cracker are a must!

This is the perfect time to get a taste for Vivace. I have never been here any other time, so I can't speak to dinner, but Sunday Brunch is where it's at. $10 bottomless mimosas. They have great flat breads and please try the mussels. Always had great service and our mimosas rarely went all the way to the bottom. There are a lot of beautiful people here and the view of the city is amazing.

Always Great!. Get the gnocchi - they literally melt in your mouth. Never had a bad meal....Service on first 2 times was pretty bad, but we went back as the food has always been good. Third visit we got an amazing server. Decided to just eat in the lounge / bar area and deal with the service, and enjoy some great food! BTW - always accommodated any request we had. This restaurant should not be overlooked.

My Favorite. I've been to Vivace several times now and I have never been disappointed. Lunch, dinner, drinks it's all good! Continues to be my favorite place to eat in Charlotte. Try the mussels, they're great. Although, if you're going on a busy night prepare for a loud crowd especially around the bar, but I think it's intentional.
Came here for restaurant week with a group of people. Service was phenomenal. The waiter checked up on us every 5 minutes, gave a great spiel about the specials, local sourcing, and offered suggestions. Food was great. They served full sized portions even though it was reataurant week. Looking at their regular prices vs the quality of food and portion, you're getting a great value. Their appetizers were very good. We got the meatballs, brussel sprouts, mussels... i got the chicken and it was good. Wine was not too expensive we shared s couple of bottles. Would recommend.

We had the pleasure of a chef-sponsored meal — 5 courses, all of which were beautifully presented and perfectly prepared.
To me, this is “Italian” in name only. It’s much more American comfort food plus pasta. We had rich, meat-and-potatoes plates with roasted veg. Deep fried artichokes, seared scallops, duck bruschetta, lamb chops, grouper... And yes, you can get homemade pasta, though we did not.
I loved the beet-risotto, and plowed through their homemade desserts, including a no-bake (gelatin) cheese cake that was best I’ve had in a long time.

This place was amazing! Definitly make reservations! We went for Brunch on Sunday and it was packed! Our waitress Nina was absolutely fantastic. I got the mussels and the spaghetti carbonara. My friend got the Brussels and the American fritatta. Both were awesome. Plus bottomless mimosas? How can you not come here is my question. I will definitely be back!
Sat outside with a group of 5 on a Sunday night on their patio couches, with a beautiful view of the skyline. Our server, Blythe, was amazing and full of information, especially when it came to their predominately Italian wine list, which was extensive. Everyone in our group had two appetizers/salads apiece, and we loved everything on the table. The brussel sprouts, meatballs and roasted carrots especially got rave reviews from everyone at the table, as well as the white bean spread that is presented along with the house made bread. We will definitely be back to try the entrees, which I can only imagine are amazing, as long as they're anything like their appetizers.
I had the French toast and bacon for Saturday brunch and it was decent but nothing to write home about. The $2 Mimosas were nice but the food was pretty regular.
Nice atmosphere. Food was GOOD! I'm glad I was able to take advantage of the last week of their endless Mimosa/Bloody Mary Brunch.

The food and wine selection were incredible and the service was top notch. Our server knew a lot about the wine offered and the food on the menu. Not to mention the views of Charlotte were incredible.
My fiancé and I have been coming here every Friday for happy hour (4-6) for the last 4 months. They make their own cello so I highly recommend getting any of their drinks using the cello (try the lime mojito- my favorite)! Their manhattan is amazing as well. Hilliary at the bar is the absolute best! Her service is a huge reason we are repeat customers.
Service - we had a very nice & knowledgeable waiter. No complaints about the food we ordered.
