I was super impressed with the level of cooking at this hip artsy little cafe. I was super comfortable with the waitresses and other guests there and it was nice to be in atmosphere that was trying to be something it's not. There was art on display around the cafe from local artists and the servers were all super informative about the businesses approach to staying local wherever possible. I had the pork belly biscuit, with the belly, egg, cheese, jalapenos, and some other things I don't remember with a side of chorizo sausages, my wife had the frittata special. Nothe were absolutely amazing and the portions were large enough that we could split either one and would have had enough. The coffee is worth the trip alone and my wife was pleased with her mimosa. Thanks for a great meal and for giving this old long haired hippie a comfortable place to enjoy in the city.

Love this place and it is a perfect fit in Plaza Midwood. Wait staff is awesome (Tabitha always brightens our day) and always takes care of my daughter and dogs. It’s not a place for a fast turn around because of how many people from the neighborhood love the place too, but the serving sizes will leave you full and it’s just an awesome place to relax and enjoy on the patio. If you’re stopping, know it is a neighborhood favorite so peak hours will have a wait. One of my favorite places in Plaza Midwood.

Zada Jane’s was everything we wanted in a breakfast/brunch spot: plant based options, Bloody Mary, tofu, eggs that are humanly raised. There were many brunch spots nearby to choose from but we would return to ZJ’s again and again. My husband had the Happy Eggs scrambled eggs, soy-sage, biscuit, and roasted potatoes. I had the east-western which was a curried tofu with spinach, peas, and onions, in a wrap. So good. We ate everything! Did I mention the Bloody Mary? Their own mix topped with a pickled okra and lime. We definitely recommend if you are in the Charlotte area. P.S. We are dairy free but they offer Cinnamon buns with cream cheese frosting on the weekends that a table nearby ordered, looked delicious.

The vibe of this place was definitely vibin! We were in town (from Columbia SC) for an E2M conference. Today was our last day. We found this place on our way out of town. We were searching for a good, non-chain restaurant for pancakes/breakfast foods. I got the Grande Quande. I think that's the correct name. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The honey butter on the pancake was so good. The seasoning on the herb potatoes was amazing. I would highly recommend this place!

I ate here for breakfast and it was soooo yummy! I ordered the Clint Eastwood Benedict and it was honestly the best benedict I’ve ever had. It had the perfect amount of everything on it. Service was great!

When it comes to brunch, Zada Jane’s is up there for me. This was my third visit & while it was a busy Sunday morning, they got us seated pretty quickly. (I do wish they took reservations for larger parties.) We all tried a variety of dishes & everything was delicious & full of flavor. I had the Bunny Rancheros (pork sausage) with a side of habanero grits and they were everything I was hoping for. The staff was friendly & accommodating! All in all a great experience yet again!

I thoroughly enjoyed this place today! It was my first time going and I went with one of my college friends. The food was delicious and the pineapple mimosas were comprised of a splash of pineapple juice with a glass of champagne 🤣🤣🤣 I had the Billy Jack Grits, which were divine, especially if you like a lot of meat. Overall, great experience. Our waiter was the guy with the blue hair and he was outstanding. Patronize this place 😊😊😊

Cute atmosphere and the food was decent. Our waiter was a total sweetheart and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. The only thing that we didn’t like were the pancakes. It literally tasted like cinnamon (very strong cinnamon). Also it did take awhile to be greeted. We stood at the door confused for about 10 mins until we went and found someone. (This could be to many places being understaffed)

This place in Charlotte NC is a must breakfast visit. Staff was on point with quick visits to table. Very knowledgeable of menu items. I had vegetable egg omelet with goat cheese- wowza, AMAZING, & super flavorful! Also, the special Amaretto pancakes they recommended? The compound honey butter? You can drop in and have this for dessert with coffee. I am making this restaurant as one of my favorites! Pictures do not do justice for the coolest vibe I felt. Go there! The biscuits are homemade, delectable, and melts in your mouth goodness! Try this. I hope you have my cool experience.

This is such a cute place!! We are from out of town and figured to give this place a shot. They have many dairy free/vegan options. They made many accomodations for my friend with helpful suggestions. The chef Corey is so friendly and came to the table to check on us and bring the food. He truly went above and beyond!! Highly recommend this place!

I cannot lie, this place turned out better than I had expected. This is the reason why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. The food was delicious! They did not have the cocktail I preferred, but they did their best to make something close to what I requested. A+ for customer service. The venue is small and it has an older vintage feel. This isn’t my normal preference, but it was good trying something different for a change.

Wonderful brunch! Great service too! I started out with a cappuccino which was pretty frothy and delicious. I had the grande quande with potatoes and toast. The potatoes were yummy. I also loved the sourdough bread. The pancake was the winner. It had a wonderful flavor with some extra added cinnamon. Yum! I also tried my friends jalapeno grits. Also a winner. I could eat those with every meal. Our server told is they're even better with goat cheese! Next time! Overall very cute spot with fun decor. There is parking out back but not a ton so be prepared. I was there on a Friday for lunch and it wasn't very busy so I scored a spot. It is handicap accessible but the lot is gravel so keep that in mind. Will definitely be back. I love the local ingredients!!
