Our server Larry was one of the most charismatic and knowledgeable servers I’ve ever had. Me and my girlfriend have never been huge fans of fine dining but this place changed our minds. We came to agree that the food was some of the best food we have had in our lives. We got the lobster Mac and cheese to start, I got the dry-aged ribeye and she got the BBQ salmon, then we finished with the molten lava cake. From beginning to end every bite was absolutely amazing. We can not wait till we have an opportunity to return.
The drinks are bomb!! Especially the blueberry lemon drop.
However....
For a small party of 6 it took 15 mins before we ever were greeted for a drink order.
My crab cake is pretty good. The filet is average.

1. The restaurant is nice. It's subtle, not the nicest steakhouse in the area but not the worst.
2. The waitstaff is exceptional. They were kind, very professional, and they got our food out to us in a reasonable time.
3. The food was very good. I really enjoyed the crab cakes and the lobster macaroni was tasty too. I was a bit disappointed in the presentation. As you can see from the photos, it had no wow factor. Normally that would be fine but when you are paying $200+ for a meal you want it to really feel special.
4. We enjoyed our visit here but we are not in a rush to come back. The price did not match the experience. I want to reiterate that Flemings is a great restaurant and you should give it a try. It just didn't meet my expectations. If you have it on your list to try definitely stop by, they will treat you well and the food will be tasty.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse has been on my list of restaurants to try in my hometown of Charlotte for a while. We recently used a special occasion to celebrate at Flemings and it was as the reviews give credence to.
I made my reservations online which was easy and explained what the special occasion was. When we arrived, the decor, the atmosphere, the aromas and ambiance met my expectations. We were quickly seated but didn’t like our table so we were promptly moved to a table more to our liking.
The menu is varied with all the options you’d expect from a top tier steakhouse. Me being a fan of Filet Mignon is an understatement and Flemings didn’t disappoint. It was cooked perfectly and the flavor was exceptional. The sides are a nice portion size so they can be shared.
The waitstaff was excellent, attentive, courteous and personable. My expectations were definitely met and the evening couldn’t have been any better. The dress code is business casual but I noticed that they don’t strongly enforce it. I recommend that you keep to the dress code so as to not be denied service.
Overall, Flemings Steakhouse is comparable to other high end restaurants in Charlotte and yes they are pricey but here you definitely get the service, food and experience you expect. Thank you Flemings for giving us a great evening.
Outstanding experience comfortable environment and calming upbeat music. Maple glazed meatballs are a 5star starter! Visiting from out of town, can’t wait to try the one close to home!
This restaurant is a very good choice if you want to have a fine dining experience with someone that you love The tomahawk steak was delicious and the dessert was also delicious. This is a very good place to have that special moment like anniversary or a wedding proposal. Our server was Gary and he was very attentive and made sure everything was just right and he had a great personality.
The food was amazing. The service was underwhelming. We were not greeted as we walked in and had to find the host who ignored us while he spoke with the kitchen staff. The hostess finally seated us after redirecting us to the front desk as it wasn’t staffed when we walked in. My steak wasn’t cooked or served with the topper on the side as I ordered it. I had to remind the server to bring my side for the steak and had to ask for the butter that should accompany my steak. Our water was never replenished. Maybe the restaurant was understaffed that evening. It was maybe at 40% capacity. I’m scared to see the service at 100%.
We went on a Saturday night and had a reservation for 730. We were seated on time. Our waiter Larry was excellent and added to the experience. The pork chop and Flemings Potatoes was amazing. The spinach was average. I really loved it overall and would highly recommend.
Went here for the first time with my wife for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the food was delicious. We had the seafood tower and the Dry aged Ribeye. Our server was Daniel. He was excellent!! Would definitely recommend. We will be returning here for sure.
Fleming’s exceeded our expectations! Service was great! Food and drinks were excellent! Steaks were cooked to perfection. Ambience was nice… dimly lit with soft music playing. My bf had a great Father’s Day dinner.
