Throughly enjoyed our visit. 2 minutes out the door of the Hyatt and across the street. Started off with the Uptown Social IPA 🍺 and some pizza bites. We had a Cesar salad 🥗 and a build your own thin crust pizza. Warning ⚠️ a single salad 🥗 will feed 3-4 adults and so very good. Pizza 🍕 had plenty of toppings.
Good service, friendly helpful staff.
Plenty of Screens all around.
Uptown social is a good place to hangout and go dancing. There are multiple areas to chill; downstairs, upstairs, and the rooftop (outside). Each area has it's own bar and music. Grab your friends and go. Btw, there was a $10 cover charge when I went on a Friday night and they only took cards for the cover. They took cash for the drinks which were kinda pricey. $12 for a vodka on the rocks and $13 for a can of wine. Idk, they may be normal prices for downtown. Parking was good. We paid $5 at a parking garage a few blocks away. Overall we had a great time!
Uptown Social created the night of our dreams!! They got it going on!!
We recently hosted a micro wedding reception dinner at Uptown Social in the Hudson Room. This room was the perfect size for our 20 guests with plenty of room for a buffet and personal bar. When planning our event, we communicated with Niki and Lindsey. They were quick to respond over email, a pleasure to talk with over the phone, and they took the time to throughly answer our many questions! We selected several appetizers and the Taco Bar option for our guests. The food was delicious! We also had a variety of mini desserts and a lovely decorated wedding cake that were equally amazing!
Uptown Social is definitely known for their fun nightlife atmosphere. But even while catering to their many other patrons in the downstairs restaurant, we still felt like their top priority! The professionalism this team exhibits is unmatched. Our day-of planner, Anna, assisted with any last minute changes and made sure our decorations were perfectly placed! Staff was always available to refill drinks or take away empty trays.
After our formal reservation in the Hudson Room ended for the night, our guests headed right out to the dance floor!! Meanwhile, Uptown Social’s team carefully packed up all our leftover food and decorations to be brought home. We had a great choice of music for the night between the DJ preforming upstairs to the band on the main floor. We enjoyed ourselves all night!
Our guests continue to compliment the quality of their experience with Uptown Social. We cannot thank you enough!

Went to Uptown Social for an event and was surprised how large it was. The first floor has a large bar and is a more open space and the second floor is broken up into Interesting rooms with a fairly large outside party space with another bar that starts livening up at around 9:30. The event had food which was good and I liked the atmosphere in general. Great place to end up at some point on a weekend evening.
Happened to stop in on a Friday and had a great time. There was a band that was really good. Food was great. Cocktail was a big watered down so I switched to Vodka on the rocks. Decent sized pours. The people watching was great! Definitely a lot of local characters were there.
Amazing DJ we had a ton of fun it was absolutely jammed packed at night on the weekend. Pretty sure there was a cover charge also but it was truly a blast! Drinks were pricey but we knew this going in.
Cocktails were good. Great choice in craft beers. Parking is hard but that’s not their fault. Upstairs as a cute butterfly photo stop. Definitely take a selfie in the bathroom. Trust me! Overall great stop for a little day drink or two.
We had a private party here and it was spectacular. We had such a good the atmosphere was great. The thing of food was great all around top notch event
Uptown social is a place that has something for everyone. They have your typical bar food heavy hitters. The little pretzels were a nice snack. The buffalo chicken wrap was solid. The bar pizza was ok and the buffalo chicken dip was nicely done. The bar gets going at night but seems like a younger crowd. Fun time.
While visiting Charleston, our family went here for a quick bite to eat. We had pizza, wings, and the chick pea burger. Wasn’t expecting much in regards to the pizza, but was I wrong. Excellent bar pizza… crispy, fresh, and great tasting pizza. I grew up eating pizza in NJ, and this was as good as any pizza I’ve had! They do have sister restaurants in NYC is my understanding. The chic pea burger was okay, a bit mushy. Sports bar feel, with lots of TV’s and loud music 🤪. They do check id at the door, not sure why, but you can’t get in with out it 🤷♂️. I would go back and kill some pizza😎
