This place was very close to where we were staying so we went here for dinner as there were some storms coming. We tried the flight of cocktails and they were all good in their own way. I enjoyed them even though I am not much of a rum drinker. We also got the shared platter of many foods and everything was delicious! The meat was super tender and flavorful. Glad we picked this place!

This place is nothing less than perfect! From atmosphere to the decor it's simply Amazing and the food well the attached photos speak for themselves. All meals are prepared by the owner Chef Paul Yellin who we were fortunate enough to meet and I must say he's an outstanding host. Please by all means have a Moscow Mule with his homemade ginger beer you will not regret it.

Happy Hour menu is an amazing deal, including drink and food for a low price. Ate here two days in a row, it was that good. Unrivaled rum selection, knowledgeable bar staff, house made ginger beer is the base of many drinks including a top notch dark & stormy. Plenty of seating during happy hour and they don't force you to sit at the bar to do the happy hour menu, as it's the case with some other places up the street (so you can get comfortable at a table if preferred). The ginger beer marinated roast pork, the jerk chicken, empanada, and the mahi bites we're all excellent. We will make a point of returning on future visits to Charleston -- make sure gems like this stay in business, give them a try!

I had a good time here. We tried a lot of drinks and a few food options. I had the coconut curry shrimp and my partner and I shared the tuna..he had the jerk chicken. The flavors were good. However, the tuna was cooked a little more than I prefer. While it was good, I still haven't tasted any Caribbean food that can compete with Caribbean Delight. The drinks are another story. I started with the pina colada old fashioned. The coconut ice cube made this drink. The dark and stormy is something you can't get anywhere else because they make their own ginger beer, and their ginger beer is delicious. My partner had the zombie. I didn't like this one because I dont like black licorice and it has Absinthe in it....but it's apparently the strongest drink they have. The mojito was amazing; I usually don't like unflavored mojitos but I liked theirs....and they take very good care of their mint....we sat at the bar, and it was pretty much like watching art looking at them preparing drinks. The daiquiri was good, and I was pleasantly surprised by it. Nothing like fresh fruit and ingredients being used in a drink. We did try other drinks but my favorite would have to be the dark & stormy.

Stopped in on Sunday night near closing time for drinks and dessert. The drinks were great, the rum cake was pretty good and the service was good (even though it was near closing time). We would definitely return if in the area again.

Best bar in Charleston!! Bartenders were awesome and friendliest people ever. Gave great recommendations on drinks and rum. And my bartender made me several specialty concoctions until we found the one I loved. Definitely will be back the next time I'm in town.

Excellent! Only visited once (so far) with my Mother and would definitely go again! The decor is vibrant and whimsical, the music is island vibe and the food and drinks are reasonable (we were there during happy hour (4pm to 7pm) and the happy hour menu is very reasonable (no more than $6 or $7 per item). Food is very well flavored, good portions and bar drinks are yummy (not weak). Friendly staff as well. Great place in one of the coolest parts of Charleston. Go!

Great, friendly service and a good place to get a drink of an evening. Definitely meets the expectation with a wall full of rums on offer. Happy hour till 7pm. Banana daiquiri was super tasty with a hint of cinnamon!

Hands down, the best rum bar I have ever been to. The food was awesome too. We ordered the jerk chicken plate and the ginger beer marinated pork. EXCELLENT!!! I loved the ambiance of the bar and Cane's has the best bartenders in all Charleston at their bar.

Cane's Rhum Bar never disappoints! They've modified their menu and it's really great. The food is always delicious and the employees are the best! Thanks Paul, Scott, and Chef Maureen!😀
