Best Mexican food I have ever had and sitting with a full picture window view of the lake pond was amazing. Everything was amazing. The wait staff....the food....salsa....and the margaritas. I absolutely loved our dinner there. They were so busy but so attentive. 43 years and I finally found my favorite restaurant. Thank you.
Wife and I found this place back in the 90s and everybody who comes out to visit us we try and take them to El Encanto and always recommend Pollo fundido was there on Sunday 3-18-18 had a short wait of 30 to 40 minutes love the atmosphere here and so do my guests, I just wish that they would open the back bar so it's not so hard to grab a beer and stand in the front area waiting for table.
Or perhaps put a temporary bar in catering area as to not crowd the bar
First time here. Was looking for a quiet dinner and got so much more. The property appeared to be built around the trees. It really felt like a great picnic at sunset under trees and open air. The service was wonderful. The ahi tuna tacos were very flavorful and filling.Will definitely look forward to coming back when I'm in the area.
Lucky for Tonto being closed found this cute little gem. Love the atmosphere,music,lighting,water feature. Staff super attentive,excellent Mexican ice cream dessert. Despite hot weather patio was very nice,misters,roll down shades, nice music,lighting. Will try something new on menu. My cold Michelada cooled me off. Great ambience. Definitely will visit again. Entire staff super nice and professional.
What an amazing place for traditional Mexican cuisine! The surroundings are incredible - pond beside the tables, heaters for inside and outside warmth. Special place that has a vibe of its own!!
El Encanto feels like a beautiful piece of Mexico. The food tastes authentic, and the mixture of indoor and outdoor seating is like none other. There is a wonderful pond in the center filled with cute little ducks, turtles, and fish. In the surrounding area, there's architecture that incorporates walls making way for trees and other plant life. While the space is large, the servers and other staff have delivered excellent customer service every time we've visited. Highly recommend visiting El Encanto.
10/10. Gorgeous place and a viby athmosphere especially outside by the pond. The food was so delicious. Had the skirt steak plate and we loved all of it. Drinks were also really good and fresh. Definitely recommend.
What an experience. I have never experienced Mexican food like this before. The food is dope and the portion sizes are even better.
The views inside this former Spanish mission converted into a restaurant are stunning.
A touch more money than other places, but good. Make sure you go all the way inside to see hostess. The sign will tell you, but the hostess is all the way back. Be careful out side with bird poop. Lots of birds.
I have been going to El Encanto since my age was still in single digits. It has always had outstanding food and atmosphere, but on my recent visit, they had built up quite an exterior upgrade. The duck/fish/turtle pond is enchanting, and the old growth on the property is a lush and stunning hideaway in the middle of of the Sonoran desert. Often they have live music, it was a genius playing guitar in the lobby yesterday. A wonderful place to have a leisurely meal with a friend or a couple of margaritas. Highest recommendation!
Pollo Fundido was amazing! Three different salsas with chips. All good! Our waitress has worked there 16 years and she was awesome! There's an unexpected large pond in the middle of restaurant that is nice to sit by. First time here and is now my favorite Mexican restaurant.
One of my favorite restaurants in Cave Creek. This place is quite the experience! The entrance is beautiful and has a huge courtyard pond with ducks, turtles and birds. Very beautiful decor and definitely gives you an authentic feel! The food was excellent and the service was amazing. This place gets busy and parking is somewhat limited. There's an additional dirt lot in the back for overflow parking. Highly recommend you check this place out for good Mexican food!
