We had a wonderful meal. The food was fresh and hot. Service was friendly and attentive. The place seems to do a lot of takeout business as it was surprisingly empty when we came. We will be returning.
Such an amazing place! Great service and great food! Me and my boyfriend got the sweet and sour chicken, broccoli beef and house special rice and it was delicious. Definitely coming back here!
China delight is a hidden jem in Carmel. It is our go-to for fresh, well prepared Chinese food. The owners are incredibly nice and the food comes out very quickly. The sweet and sour pork is fresh - crisp veggies and pineapple as well as a sauce that is not too sweet. There are some nice vegan options like the veggie soup with tofu.
Phenomenal authentic Chinese food! We went in for dinner and ordered Hunan beef, chow fun, sizzling rice soup, and egg rolls. Everything was delicious and the service was great. If you are looking for an outstanding, local, family owned restaurant make sure to go to China Delight. Phenomenal food, great service, fair prices.
Lovely waitress and experience! The woman who runs it is just the best! Amazing food, and great atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
We are from SF and know good Chinese food. We set our bar very low since we were in Carmel but were pleasantly surprised with this spot! The people were so nice, ambiance was lovely and the lunch specials we got were quite good. Friendly service with good, reasonably priced food. If you weren’t sure if you should try it, please do.
I liked the sweet and sour shrimp, but the chow mein and honey-orange chicken was not great. The dishes were authentic chinese taste, very different from fast-food chinese places. Maybe that's why we didn't like them that much...
The service was good and the lunch menu was very affordable and includes eggroll and soup or salad.
Wonderfully sweet workers and great food. Everything is very fresh & flavorful. It's so nice to see them every time we visit Carmel. They're always so attentive and eager to give you a great dining experience. Its become a must place to eat when in town.
I've only been here a couple of times for take out during covid but the Mongolian beef was the best I ever tasted! The servers were polite, clean, and respectful. Though I did knock down a star because the owner's response to negative reviews was very concerning..
What a lovely restaurant, a quiet and luxurious dining experience. The broccoli beef was delicious! Service was impeccable - attentive without being overbearing.
