Stopped for early Dinner and really enjoyed it. Clean, great service and food was hot! Friendly personnel. Lots of Seniors frequent this place and they love it. Price is right too!
Good Food. I have eaten here several times both breakfast and lunch both are really good I had the chicken livers they have them everyday on the lunch special They were good a little dry and they give you a plate full good southern cooking for a restaurant but it ain't how mama fixed it
Great food, but I agree with the previous review on that they don't have convenient hours. I understand wanting to be closed on Sunday, but that is the main time I want that kind of food.
I've always enjoyed the food but the hours and days open aren't very convenient. They are closed on Sundays and not only holidays but the days before and after so we rarely get a chance to go.
My wife and I have ate here a few times. The service and food have always been good. Can't beat the price.

1st time I have been to FT in a while and I must say the food was much better than last time. Had grilled pork chops cooked just right and the sides were great. Good coffee and banana pudding too
Consistently good country cooking that is much healthier than other similar restaurants...using minimal fats to cook the meats and veggies. Excellent variety too, including several fish and vegetarian dishes for lunch/dinner...as well as yummy breakfast favorites! 🤩
This was our first trip. Breakfast was WONDERFUL. Coffee was the best I've had out. Staff and service were great. HUGE biscuits that were VERY good. I have no complaints.
One thing I love above ALL is there connection to the community. They sell local honey, local berries.. truly love this.
It reminds me how restaurants operated when I was a kid. Everyone knew everyone. Very nostalgic. I just moved to the area. Will certainly come back.
***edit: We've come back many times. Our kids love the food...grilled cheese and fruit salad. It's as cheap or cheaper than going to fast food. I love the vegetable beef soup with cornbread, fried green tomatoes and the teriyaki chicken is AMAZING! Someone said the potatoes were instant...but I don't think so. I could be fooled, but I don't think so. This is our family night out place to go.
Breakfast is always on point. Lunch is delicious. Great home cooked food with awesome servers. They also redecorated a little inside since my last visit and I like it! More space =)
