Let me first start by saying I don’t even do stuff like this! But when I called in I didn’t know what I wanted to order it was my first time trying food like this Melissa allowed me to pull up and try a few things after I picked what I liked I got my food in less than 5 minutes! Everything was Perfect definitely my new spot! Even if you don’t like what you get at first I guarantee with her customer service you’re going to want to come back and try something new! I’m literally only on here because of her customer service she asked that I leave a review and I just wanted to keep my word. 🤞🏾🔥🔥
3 time I've tried to eat here & they were out of food. Get ur food early & call ahead.
I was lucky to bring a special guest. She let us try all the main dishes & treated us like her children. Her service is A1, right off the RIP... completely the Jamaican mother we all want.
I had the goat & brown chicken stew over rice & beans & with cabbage. Nxt time I'd get more cabbage then rice because I really liked the cabbage with sliced carrots. Don't forget there is bones cut within these, after all that's were the flavor comes. Goat & brown stew were delicious but the beef patty was underrated in my meal.
I'm a big fan of them in general... nxt time I'll get 2 beef patties (pastries) & order the salmon head of time.
My special guest liked his jerk chicken but with dieting would want no brown stew gravy on it. Special thanks to the Mrs. for finding out her rice is gluten-free for him. Thank u. We'll be back, but I'll be calling ahead
Everything from the taste, to the portion, to the service is superior!! We tried the jerk chicken, curry chicken, beef stew, oxtail, beef patties, and mac n cheese and it was ALL delicious!! Melissa is a sweetheart and was so kind. I highly recommend!! We’ll be back…
Besides the excellent food and flavors that are amazing, and authentic, the ladies are a blast to deal with and loved meeting them. The amount of food for your dollar is off the chart. And I can't say enough about how good the food is. Please give it a try!
There is only 1 Irie Island Island Jamaican Restaurant and it is in Canton, Ohio. Amazing food at a great price. Walking in the door takes you straight away to the Islands but for now due to the Delta Variant it is call ahead take out. She is open from Thursday to Saturday 2 to 7 and Sunday 2 to 6. Keep eating local.
Absolutely delicious food. A must try if you enjoy Jamaican food. Make sure you call in your order in advance because there isn't in shop ordering for the time being.
The BEST Jamaican food in canton AND Akron combined!! This woman has no competition. I told her I was pregnant and craving and after I payed for my order she started bringing out small plates of different dishes to feed me ! Food was amazing customer service is beyond excellent she treats everyone like family I’m so glad I found this spot it gets 5 stars from me any day !
Went there 1st time. food was amazing and the owner is a real treat. I recommend coming here if you want some good food with great flavor
