I usually go by myself for lunch. They have great deals on their sushi and lunch hibachi. The sushi is amazing. And the portion sizes on their hibachi lunches are huge. The service is always fast and the staff are so friendly. This is my favorite place for Japanese cuisine. Sit at the sushi bar and watch them at work. I can’t say enough about this place
One of our favorite restaurants! We've had sushi from all over the U.S. and none is fresher that at A1. I know that sounds crazy given the restaurant's location in Canton, Ohio, but with the volume of sushi customers my guess is they are constantly getting fresh seafood shipped in to keep up with business. We usually order a "chef's special" and have them surprise us and we're not disappointed. Linda and Eddie run a very good establishment.
I celebrated my Birthday here! I’m very happy and felt special they gave me ice cream with candle to blow make my dine in very special and personal. I also love the food and the appetizer. They have good selection of Sake 👌🏼. I highly recommend this place and it’s my 3 times already been here I will be back soon.
Absolutely love this place. Can get super busy. Especially Friday/Saturday night. But the wait is worth it. Sushi is top notch. Quality for sure. A1 sushi roll is delicious. I really enjoyed the Seafood Yaki Udon. We sat at the sushi bar tonight. The sushi chefs were so nice. They gifted us a 8pc Sunset Special sushi. First time trying that. It was fantastic. One of my favorite restaurants to go enjoy good sushi and hibachi.
I love A1. Very affordable, staff is always helpful and pleasant. Prices are great given the ample portions that they give. Great place
THE best food, I've EVER put in my mouth. I got a crunchy spicy tuna roll, the salad, soup and bang bang shrimp. All were PHENOMENAL. I just was here last weekend. I HAD to come back! Soooo darn good! WOW.
1st time here. Very nice. Service was great, good was amazing and prices were good!
I got the steak hibachi. Came with rice and noodles, no veggies. I thought that was a little odd, but it was very tasty!
My best friend and I decided to try using chop sticks again and we actually did decent! 🤣🤣🤣

Went for the hibachi with my daughter. It really made me sad to realize I have no other family here...all these other tables were made up of families and friends, and they were all having a great time. We watched the "show" for the other side of our table and it was much better than ours, probably because the guests seated there were more receptive than those who shared our table. The food was outstanding, but we were handed to-go boxes immediately after the last item came off the grill and we really felt rushed to leave. The leftovers were just as good heated up, though. The price can't be beat.
Nice atmosphere with courteous staff and chefs. The prices are about what you would expect from any other hibachi experience, and the chefs do a great job with the usual entertainments. Decent availability of vegetarian options on a rather large menu as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my family's visit here and wouldn't hesitate to come back!
