We've been to Geroge's Lounge several times now and each time we've had a blast.The drinks are reasonable priced and it's a very cool place to hang with your friends.The staff is very friendly as well! My girl friends and I really enjoy hearing local music and this is also great place to do so.We saw Austin Stambaugh this weekend and they were pretty good.it's great to have another place supporting local musicians You should look into getting Master T.C.and The Visitors to play. They are an amazing local band we ser alot and they are one of the best bands around Ohio. They also do acoustic stuff. They would really bring in a nice crowd in would fit in great with the ambience of Geroge's Lounge.The bar has an awesome, clean atmosphere and and there seems to be something exicting always going on.We hang out near the Canton area alot and will definitely be back.The food is pretty descent too especially for bar food! one of the best burger's I've ever had actually.Thank you for always making this a great experience for us!
Total dive bar with amazing food but that's it's charm! Well worth it if you want a great burger, beer and even a kick ass milkshake
George's is such a staple of the downtown area. A bit small but cozy. Went in for dinner and music last Saturday. The bartender was super polite and attentive. Our burgers were delicious and came out fast and we never had to wait on service. I only gave four stars because it could use a little updating but the vibe is what really matters. Highly recommend the Hall of Flame burger if you like a little heat!
First time to George's & we finally got to see why everyone raves about the burgers. Full flavored, juicy, & cooked perfect to order. She went with the PBR (bacon cheese) & I had the special. Guinness Khan (Guinness braised corn beef & grilled onions) 🍔
Their fries are perfect "fair fries" as well. Ideal for malt vinegar & ketchup.
Tried their Maple Cream shake & it was a maple cream stick in glass. Dead on flavor flavor. 🎯 Finished it 3 mins after it got to the table.
Nice relaxed vibe. Food was good. Drinks weren't waterd down. Prices were fair. The Veggie burger was homemade. Great with their hot sauce.
Amazing burgers!! The staff there arw so cool. This is a great place to get really good food and really good service. If you ever go to downtown Canton, this is a MUST to stop at and get some food and beer.
Update, March 2022: First Friday, the joint was packed. No worries, we came back much later and had what we were craving, a good George's burger. :)
July 2021: Really good burgers here, fries were tasty and the drinks were good. We'll be back!
Hip little dive bar. Burgers looked amazing. We had the hand cut fries, came with a choice of three amazing dipping sauces. Love music was good. I'll be back for a burger.
I was impressed overall. I will say the watermelon on my sandwich was different. I didn’t hate it, it was just surprisingly different. The bartenders were attentive, it was a nice first visit.
