I love this place. It's low key the food is great and the service matches. I go here at least once a month.
Super spicy superman is the best. I usually order it with spicy tuna.
Very kind cool people running the place. Food is so good.
Busy, many choices, quick service. I definitely wouldn't call this my favorite sushi place, but the service is fast and efficient, there are many choices on the menu and on the boats that are pre-made, and did I mention a lot of choices. They have even let me order off-menu a few times (depends on the chef). All in all I come here occasionally and would go more if not for the crowds (which means other people like it as well).
Sushi - Good and fast!. We love Sushi Boat Kazoo! We have been coming for years. They have many good rolls and you can also order off a menu. If you sit at the bar, there is virtually no waiting, just grab what you want off the boats. The chefs are happy to make you something if you don't see what you want.
Get there early. I love this place, but get there when they first open. Near lunch closing and late at night, some plates have been going around the yard a few times. Try the San Diego Roll & the Santa Cruz Roll. When they have it, Toro excellent.
This place is a delicious lunch waiting to happen. The pricing is not as expensive as other places. The sushi is inexpensive and the boats get refilled consistently. It's very easy to spend more than you planned. The sushi is available and delicious. The service is quick and the staff is friendly. The pickled ginger is great. The rolls are awesome.
This place was super fun! You go there, and instead of just buying random rolls that you've never even heard of, you can see all the rolls floating down the little moat and then you just pick up what looks good to you!
I have no idea what the internal workings of this place are, but it seems that things change along the hour every hour. But maybe it's every half hour? No one knows, except the wizards that operate behind the counter. Also, I've heard that they are born and raised inside the inner circle, and are never allowed to leave and they are created to become the best sushi masters in the world. Or so I've heard...
Anyway, the food was pretty awesome and the experience was fun. Super friendly staff and they are very attentive. Would probably come back. Just gotta make sure you don't pick up anything that looks like it's been floating for too long. Maybe they oughtta come up with some crazy idea to keep the sushi under sub-zero temperatures whilst floating down the River Infinite.
Love you!
Everyone is so amazing! Nick, Jacki, Mike, Angel, chrissy, and the entire staff is so friendly. My wife and I would come here every Friday and sometimes twice a week. We enjoy the hospitality and service, as well as the secret specials the chefs have. The service is fast and the place is very well maintained. You guys are amazing! Keep up the great work! See you next Friday!
Great selection of rolls and made very quickly.
Really pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food! The place could use some work inside but the food was really quite good and a good value. I went for lunch and had a bento with Tonkatsu and chicken teriyaki. Everything was done quite nicely. Not overdone, not underdone. The miso soup was full of flavor and the salad was not overly dressed - all to my liking! It's been quite a while since I had the sushi here so I can't comment on that but the boats are labeled so there's no guessing as to what you'll get.
We come here a lot for the sushi boats. The kids love watching the boats go by and watching the sushi chefs make their sushi. Good quality raw fish, lots of interesting specialty rolls. Their small plates mean you get try several different kinds of sushi, as opposed to just one big roll.
