Great draft selection.. OK, the food is only passable, and the pizza is horrid. But they have a great beer selection. I get the feeling that everyone who goes here went to high school together, then college, then the same office. And I think that they are all attorneys. Ladies, stop in, don't eat, but try to find a husband.
Eating Through Buffalo

Lots of Beer. Colter always has a great beer selection. Taps located all around the bar. They will let you try samples of their seasonal beers if you want to try one. The u shaped bar is fun to watch a sports game at and the bar usually gets into it. Mimosas on Sunday are always large. Typical bar food served along with many sandwiches, salads, burgers and entrees. Sides are included with most meals and they offer at least 5 every day including pasta salad, sweet potato fries and tots. The Elk Island Nachos are huge and can be split between a few people. Colter Bay Greens salad is a meal in itself.
Good Eats :). My husband and I go there probably once a month for a "lunch date". The food is really good and reasonable. The help is friendly. But the bathrooms are DISGUSTING!!! I try to avoid using the bathroom at all costs while I'm there.
Great Hangout. I have business meetings here and the bartenders are very pleasant. Love the selection of beers on tap, and the wings are not bad. Great place to hang out and have a good time.
The staff is always Super Friendly, Awesome beer selection, and the Campfire Wrap is Amazing.
Best bbq wings ever!!!!!!
Beer and wings. Perfect place to watch sports and get beers and wings in Buffalo.
Trying something new. Looking to grab an early dinner with my girlfriend before seeing Jeff Dunham at HSBC, I proposed we try a place neither of us had ever visited. CB had been on my mind as it was a stop on a bar crawl a few coworkers had organized in the Fall, and I had heard good reviews about the beer selection.
Kind of a slow, snowy, Sunday afternoon, but I imagine the bar scene picks up when the weather is nice and there's a game on TV. Regardless, being right on the corner of Delaware and Allen, it seems like the perfect place to people-watch.
We both enjoyed our meals (service was a bit slow with one waitress working four tables), but I want to go on the record by saying my Monte Cristo was a 'WOW!' Not a sandwich you see on every menu, but it's a personal favorite; slices of turkey, ham, and swiss cheese on bread (I chose sour dough), then dipped in an egg batter and grilled golden brown = mmm mmm good.
And as CB is known locally for their long list of beers, and also since I was trying something new, I paired my sandwich with a Loose Cannon from Clipper City Brewery; very hoppy, but drinkable.
Sandwiches, sodas, and a beer for around $25 after tax and tip definitely hits the spot.
