This is one of those times where service made the food better!
We walked in, placed our to-go order and then my wife and I sat at the bar. She ordered a drink (peach margarita, below) while we waited for our food.
Not only did the bartender greet us at the door, he actually went behind the counter and made my wife's drink!
We talked about life for awhile and he left to check on our food.
I ordered the Guayabitos burrito and my wife had the Taco salad with chicken.
It was huge and delish! I added pico to my burrito 🌯. I did not try my wife's food this time, but she said it was good.
We went during a slow time of day, so the atmosphere was relaxed.
Next time we'll try and eat-in to get the full experience!
The food was excellent and good prices.
The wait staff was VERY attentive and helpful. Highly recommend.
I forgot to take a picture before, but I can tell you the burrito is amazing.
self-motivated highly anticipated
+4
Food was good rice a little greaser than I like but was edible. There were very busy so we had to wait like 5 min before being seated overall decent.
The soft tacos were fabulous! Can't remember ever having better. I always stop there when visiting my grandson.
The food is amazing, and so is the service. I am giving a 4 star review because the restaurant was pretty dirty, to be fair though, I arrived shortly after lunch so maybe this was dilue to a lunch rush. Still, the food is excellent, and authentic.
Kind of wondered what kind of Mexican Food experience we could get out here in Bryson City. Turns out a really good one.
The chips and salsa got to the table as we were sitting down. No wait at all and they were delicious.
Got lunch after a morning of sightseeing and we both left stuffed, with leftovers. I had the carnitas on the recommendation of our waiter, and was spot on. Maybe the best I've had. Tender, nicely cooked with onions, with avocado, pico, lettuce, beans and rice.
Fast service, really good food. Chips and salsa came out instantly. The salsa was a little spicy which I loved. Chips were thin and crunchy!
I had the tlaquepaque. It was sooo yummy. We will definitely be back. Easy walk from town too!!
We stopped by to get some Mexican food after hiking 🥾 and exploring the Road to nowhere tunnel, I was not able to take pics of the food but I order the chicken Chimichangas and my wife order the veggie plate with chille relleno, food was good and our server was great 👍🏻 I also enjoy a cold draft beer 🍺
This place is phenomenal! I am no stranger to Mexican food, and this is some of the best I've ever had. The stuffed poblanos were **chef's kiss**, and everyone there was so nice and friendly. It's also a very affordable meal that'll leave you full. I only wish we lived closer so we could order from here more often!
Service was fast and friendly.
The food was just average. Not the best I have had... But not the worst. It was average.
We were traveling through and thought we would try it out. I wouldn't go out of my way to make the stop again. But if I happened to be in the area, and needed a quick bite, I would stop.
