This is a review for Ric's review below. Over all, I found his review to be more than satisfactory, earning it an easy five stars, however one small caveat I'd add is that in the future, I'd like to see a little more flair, and possibly detail. While Ric's review did expertly capture the gestalt of the Alphaville experience, it lacks the verisimilitude of say, one of Tom Wolfe's proto-gonzo journalist-as-participant Facebook reviews, or Gore Vidal at his delightfully haughty, dandyish best during his classic Facebook review period of the early 70s.
All in all, though, a considered and timely entry, deserving of note.
Came for the music, keep returning for the hot Kristen Stewart lookalike bartender with the short hair 😉
Whoa! My friends would not stop raving about the chicken, so I was thrilled to find out about the vegan versions of it!!! I know back in the day, they had good nugz but these are the new kids on the block to beat. Kudos to the new crew here!
They already had my heart with skee ball. ++++ The shows here are always really good and the decor updates are spot on. ++++
I will be coming back a lot more often.

This bar is pretty nice and there is room to dance, plus a dj booth. The bartenders are good people.

The bar, food and staff are great. Came for a show ended up hanging all night for the vibes.
Good to see this venue come back renovated. A venue that employs artists and very artist friendly. The air conditioning is working fine and the stage has a curved feel to it. New Skeeball machines are inside the concert area strangely but that should be fun while the acts are on. Haven't tried food or drink yet. Kinda far from public transportation and parking is extremely hard unless you want to walk a few mins.
great acoustics in the concert venue room. they used sound dampening materials which seem to give the space better acoustics than other venues of a similar size. really nice ambiance with the way they decorated the space.
You used to be offered cocaine from every person in this building. Now they just serve alcohol
Favorite bar in Brooklyn. When my friends move to Bushwick, I take them here. I love the owners and the live music is always great.
Top notch service, vibe is the one, food is phenomenal, drinks are great, get a great lineup of artists, DJ keeps the tunes coming in wave after wave of awesome, and did I say the service is the one you’re looking for?
