Fun date night spot! Highly recommend the K-pop cocktail with boba pearls. Chicken bites with Chili Aioli was A+. Bulgogi Beef and BBQ Eel were great. Would definitely come back!
The most fun little spot on Vanderbilt! We shared a bunch of things (the beef bulgogi was a hit at our table) and had their frozen Asian pear cocktail with no regrets.
The food and drink were great and our server Sylvia was the best!
She recommended some of her favorite menu items including the frozen cocktail (served in a korean soda can!) and the jaeyook gnocchi! We also got the curry popcorn, kimchi fries, and chicken bites to share. The sauces are delicious, especially the spicy chili aioli.
Definitely returning to try their other large plates!
Lovvveeee White Tiger!
This restaurant offers a contemporary approach to Korean cuisine and it doesn't disappoint. This place is also very lively and the space is small-ish. Therefore I recommend making reservations!
The wait staff here were also very friendly and provided some menu suggestions.
If you also love soju and sake then you'll definitely enjoy this place.
Their bar is also cool looking so I'll definitely come back next time if I'm not with a group and chill there for the night.
Pro-tip: their fried chicken dish is massive so definitely shareable. 🍗
We were lucky to get a table at the party here on a Saturday night. Fantastic service, a buzzing atmosphere, and comfy dining complement a range of dazzling dishes, including vegetarian and meaty. Sizzling hot sticky rice, BBQ eel, zangy edamame, delicious fries, and crisp, clean Soju to wash it all down. Generous, friendly, smart owner welcoming all and giving context to the fun. Certainly one of the fun spots on Vanderbilt and a must-try among for foodies coming to the area.
Every dish I’ve tried at White Tiger I’ve absolutely loved! This time around was a post-Brooklyn Half Marathon celebration, so we went all out with the protein and carbs. It was wonderful, and being outdoors didn’t hurt.
It definitely is surprise little gem in the area! From drinks, to appetizers, to entrees, to the sauces, to the garnish, everything is just right on point. Take someone you care to White Tiger for a special day! Definitely will be back!
Loved this place. We had the bulgogi, bibimbap, chicken bites, kimchi edamame, and some soju. It was all great, and the atmosphere was really cozy.
We had dinner outside at white tiger on a Friday night when Vanderbilt was shut down. It’s so great to go on the weekends when you can take advantage of the outdoor seating and the fun vibes on Vanderbilt. We ordered a lot of food to share including the chicken bites, kimchi fries, lettuce wrap platter, banchan, bulgolgi and kimchi fried rice. All were good but my favorites were the bulgolgi and kimchi fried rice. My boyfriend lived in Korea and complained that the flavors weren’t strong enough, the banchan wasn’t the best and that you had to pay for banchan. I thought it was a delicious meal regardless!
One of my favorite Korean restaurants in nyc, The food here is amazing everything brought out is always quick, fresh and delicious. The menu has a lot of great choices, the Bibimbap is usually my go to.
