I was looking for a birthday cake for my sister after looking at the bakeries in the area Palermo where my Grandparents are from was my choice the workers were very helpful suggesting the mousse cake it was out of this world this will be my bakery of choice from now on its worth the travel from sheepshead bay
Palermo's is the best. Been going to them since we moved into the neighborhood. They are a staple in the neighborhood. They support and give back to the community. Breads are baked daily, cakes are delicious. Love them.
Excellent food and customer service! Luisa, who is one of the female employees at Palermo, does a wonderful job assisting me with my order. She is also very patient, kind, and reliable! Highly recommend to anyone who wants pastries, this is the place to go to!!!!
Maybe the best Italian bakery in Brooklyn. Certainly the absolute finest on Ave N! If you want a bland sugar-bomb, go to those other places. But if you want the best cakes, cookies, pastries and special treats, Palermo's the place for you. And they have the most authentic (and tasty) spritzel's you'll find anywhere in multiple varieties.
Always fresh, they have my children's favorite delicious cookies. And they make a fantastic pie with fresh fruit and whipped cream that is out of this world!

The best bakery in the world, hands down. Now, I haven't been all over the world, but I'm still confident in saying that. Or maybe it's just because I'm fat and their stuff is delicious. Whatever, the place rocks and is what I compare every other bakery to. Get a spritzel with custard filling, some rainbow cookies, a black and white, and a half gallon of milk, take your shirt off and bamm, you got yourself a party.
