Well I've only been to Angry Wades a few times but only because I live in Wisconsin. It's a great place to go for Packer games. They grill outside burgers and brats for the games which is right up our alley. Everyone does a rally call when the Packers score. Chris is the bartender and he is great. I feel for him thou as he is a Vikings fan. Hey Chris hope you're doing good.
Staff is so friendly! This is a must stop every time we visit Brooklyn. Football Sundays are always a great time.
Great drinks with really good specials. It's tough to find a bar that you can have a good time and not spend your life savings on a few drinks. This place is a little divey but it's kinda charming. They have a decent bar food menu that's also very reasonably priced. They'll have whatever games are being played on TV, and they have a pool table in the back if you want to get up and move around.
Also, free all you can eat popcorn, and it isn't stale. Hard to beat.
I used to come here often a few years ago and I have to say I would be stopping by more often if I didn't live 6 miles away. This is a casual and inviting bar, a little divey but I'm okay with that. A great place to go to if you are a sports fan...plenty of televisions. The crowd here is friendly and a lot of people are into sports. This place has a good selection of beer too. They also have darts, a pool table and free popcorn!
I love this low key bar. The free fresh made popcorn is great and the drinks are at a decent price. The staff is nice. And they even have a pool table. I've been going here for years
One of the best sports bars in Brooklyn. No specific team affliation, but they play all games and they give half off draft beers from 1-4PM on Sundays! Happy hour during NFL games!? Unheard of. They also offer free popcorn for you to mop up the booze with.
Good beer selection. Free popcorn is pretty fantastic.. but beware, some of the photos posted of this bar aren't actually of this bar. And I can't figure out what bar the pictures are from. I came to watch a baseball game, as I saw TV's in the pictures.. alas, no televisions. Scarlett was awesome behind the bar though and I stayed for a few drinks anyhow.
Cheers!
Great low key bar. My friend loves it, he grew up with some guy named Wade in his neighborhood. Wade had a conversion van, permed mullet, and a hot tub. All the moms had a crush on wade, he was kind of a player. I haven’t met the Wade that owns this, but he can’t be that bad because his beer is ice cold & his drinks are cheap. Thanks Wade!
Football, pool, good people. Sundays are packed as each tv is dedicated to a different game and that team's fans fill up the section of the bar. Two great ladies outside cook up hot dogs and burgers (including a special burger that's different each week) outside which you can purchase a ticket for from the bar. Beer selection isn't huge, but there's free popcorn, Wade's a nice guy and takes care of the regulars and can you really ask more than that?
One of my go-to bars in the area, they have beer and shot specials, popcorn, and a pool table. Friendly staff and a good amount of seating too. Obviously can get busy, but always good for a drink or two.
One of my favorite bars in the area. Pool, free popcorn, and personality. What else do you need in a bar? Great spot to watch sports - I rarely walk by when there's a game on without hearing a loud collective cheer!
Been coming here for years and it's one of the only original businesses left in the neighborhood. You can play pool and shoot darts or just hang out and watch a game. Great beer and friendly bartenders, you can't ask for more.
