It's very chills good is amazing I recommend the prom steak w/potatoes and gravy great beer selections as well as multiple sections to enjoy depending on mood/season/night/day
Soooooooooooo freaking good! I don't know if it is authentic but it was high quality, flavorful and unique. I had the gumbo free checking deal on yelp and it was on point. Suoerflavorful. Catfish po boy hit the spot! As did the bacon bloody mary. Will definitely be back.
I stopped by here on a chilly Saturday night for a beer. I got their house beer which I didn't really like. The place had some good music in the background. The bar was fairly quiet and uneventful.
Weekend lunch review: Great service! Plenty of sitting. As for food, the crawfish mac and cheese was very rich and filling. The burger was surprisingly juicy and tasty. Big space too with indoor and outdoor seating.
Really cool cozy place with a great atmosphere. Food was really good and the drinks were made well. Staff was pretty helpful and accommodating. I had the Oyster Po' Boy and the Crawfish Mac & Cheese which were both amazing. The New York Smash was such a great drink, I had two (tempted to go for a third). If you're looking for a place to get some work done or to converse over drinks, this place isn't a bad choice at all.
Service is really nice , the brunch is delicious. I had the chicken fried pork steak. Incredible. The deviled eggs are really good too. Really nice outdoor seating! And the pricing is really fair. Love it!!!
Good pregame spot. The drink prices aren't bad for the area. Plenty of space with the main bar, a backroom with pool, and an outdoor area

Went to the sound mind outdoor concert last week to support our niece in Bushwick. It was a rain or shine - think more rain tho. Went to HWoods first because I only saw the Cajun Grub & Beer part of the sign. Since my wife & I love both we all popped in. Great choice! Many beers on tap and the Cajun choices were good! Seats in the back but you need to go up front to order food or beer. Small inconvenience for the food received! would go back in a heartbeat!
Fun spot. Great menu options and $18 unlimited mimosas for 2hrs during brunch. The outdoor seating was perfect for this 65° January day.
Great local bar with plenty of seating, pool, good food, decently priced drinks, a back patio, and weekly trivia! A great neighborhood hang out spot.
The most delicious Cajun Burger, great staff, so 😎. Just a great vibe.
