This place is so cozy and super old school. The food is great and pricing is fair. Others have already mentioned it but the location is small, only a few tables, but that's never been an issue for myself. Walking inside makes you feel nostalgic. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving some breakfast food. :) The oatmeal is SURPRISINGLY SO GOOD! For the super low price you have to try it!! It's deceptive because it's tucked away on the sides portion menu so you don't expect it to be so sweet and tasty.

Simple and satisfying. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We went there to have breakfast and my husband enjoyed it. On the other hand, I only had coffee because there was not a single vegan option available.
Nice and cozy coffee shop! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast. I really liked the waffles. The service was quick and the atmosphere was friendly and vibrant. It's a busy coffee shop. I highly recommend!
Was going through Google to find a good breakfast place in brooklyn area and stumbled upon Mary's coffee shop and ordered the breakfast burrito plus waffles with beef bacon and let me tell you since I arrived in NYC this was my first good experience food wise, everything tasted fresh and was actually great, a place I can definitely come back to again to try something else. Totally recommended!!!
No complaints. Cheap, but good food. They do breakfast all day. A little chilly, so wear something warm or order something hot. Can't ask for more
great place. better quality pancakes than most diners around here, great cubano, stews are good too. prices are right and there is a lot of care put into the food and presentation. mary’s has something for everybody

Everything you see on the table was only fifteen dollars. Thats with 2 coffee refills. You simply can’t beat that. If you are in the mood for some quick and homestyle breakfast, then this is the place for you.

The food is good not awesome.. I've only had breakfast though. It's very small but 5 tables but that doesn't bother me. I sit by myself. The people are very nice. And it's old school and clean. The neighborhood is ok as well. I usually go Sunday morning.I try and treat myself every Sunday. The alone time is awesome. Definitely recommend they have a bathroom, a counter or table as option to sit down
