I really like this place. Tasty, healthy cold food choices sold by the pound and ready on demand. Quality grocery, good beer and butcher selection. Ate at the counter with my son. I recommend.
Very nice little market with a good selection of high quality meats and cheeses along with other healthy foods. There's a bit of everything there, a quick bite from the deli case, soups and salads, or fresh ingredients for supper. The workers there are super friendly and helpful. Visit! You'll like it. Just be mindful where you are shopping...let's just say it's a wealthy area.
Really good salad bar with amazing fresh options, I love the sweet potatoes and some of the tossed salad options! Also has some nice home style hot options. And all the grocery items are very local so you’ll have a wholesome meal
LOVE this Grocery store. BUT, I had to dock one star because sadly the rotisserie chickens aren’t as good as they used to be. They use SO many herbs now. It’s like a herb crust or something. PLEASE bring back the old chicken recipe. For the love of god PLEASE!
One of my favorite markets in the area. I especially love going on weekend mornings to get a couple of biscuits for breakfast. The glazed, blueberry ones are incredible!
Because their goods are organic and high quality, the prices on everything are expensive, even for New York standards. Unless you have the money to drop, this is more of an every now and then market. Whatever the case, you will not be disappointed with what you get from Foragers.
Used to shop here when I worked in the area. Great salad bar and prepared foods section. Good produce as well. Some of the other items are a bit rarefied--think fancy pasta or tomato and garlic paste in tubes--but useful.
If you are visiting the DUMBO area in the afternoon, instead of going to a restaurant, I recommend getting food at Foragers. Walk in and straight to the back and order a chicken sandwich #2, and get some nice sides and drinks. Go and sit by the water front between the bridges and marvel at the majestic view.
Everything about this place is well designed. The Quinoa Salad and kale mixture at the self serve area is really delicious. It's a high end grocery food store in Dumbo, expect to see a lunch crowd of people who work in the area. Lots of healthy, natural food options.
Amazing sandwiches and selection of foods!
As tourists to New York, we stumbled upon this place after wandering across the Brooklyn Bridge. We were starving and it looked popular, so we thought we'd give it a go for a bit of lunch. I had a pulled pork sandwich and my friend had a meatball one. Annoyingly both these sandwiches turned out to be up there with the best we've ever had.
I am so gutted my favourite sandwich is over 3000 miles from where I live. I would seriously recommend this place if you're in the area, and if anyone wants to fly me back over, I'll happily show you where this place is in person.
