Very upscale interior, located in a very unsuspecting place. From the outside, you get the sense of a lively venue. Once you reach inside, you are immersed in a luxurious experience. From the rose shaped napkins, to the blue velvet seating, you really feel like you're at a place that cares about your experience there. The (3) individual bathrooms are huge inside, with none other than a continuation of the luxurious experience. The food was very tasty and you definitely will not be let down by the taste and quality of presentation. I highly recommend!!

The staff here is very friendly and were able to accommodate us even though we turned up 45 mins from closing. The food is excellent with distinct flavors in all the dishes. Often Thai food can all taste the same, but not here. The food had complexity that stood out. Though the papaya salad was not as spicy as I would have expected but still delicious.

Samui is BEAUTIFUL. The food, staff and ambiance are nothing short of enchanting. The lighting and seating are of stunning quality. I’ve been here two times and have yet to be disappointed. They accept reservations which are great and are on point with customer service.

The service felt like we had private waiter service, so cool :) The food was fresh and the taste was flavorful, yummmmmmy. Even the presentation of it made me feel like someone took extra care of my food and wanted to wow me :) The vibe is cozy, looks modern, and has whimsical yet break-taking decor. My plus is that the location feels intimate without the mediocre queue wait times. This place is the pinnacle of Brooklyn’s Hidden GEM. This a Fantastic place to dine!

What a fabulous place! Food, music and ambiance was all spectacular!!! The owner A and her staff are attentive, courteous, beautiful and sweet people. The space and restrooms are very clean and has a very creative flare and fun. SAMUI Resturuant has easy access and lots of free street parking on the block and at the corner across Park Avenue and under the BQE in a clean, pleasant, safe and brightly lite area made the entire evening stress free and fun. You cannot do better in Brooklyn! Highly Recommend it! And Enjoy!

SAMUI is a Thai restaurant with a lounge twist. One of the few Thai places I know in recent memory that serves cocktails, this space exudes extravagance and luxury. While eclipsed by the shadow of the condos high-rise coming online across the street, the owners spared little expense to make sure this destination is one everyone who goes, will remember. I've tried a number of dishes from the menu... from small plates, to noodles to dessert. Rest assured this is the real deal and the menu, executed perfectly, speaks to the owner's Thai roots.

Took my mom to this beautiful new spot in fort greene. We met the owner she is very artistic and creative, it shows in how she designed the interior, the bathroom was IMMACULATE! The bartender Natasha is as cute as her sweet and welcoming personality. She made a killer chilli margarita for my mom and i had the smoky rubus...on point! We had the Tumeric chicken wings as an appetizer which was a great starter...after finishing our drinks we ordered two tap stella artois to go with our shrimp with yellow curry and basil fried rice with chicken...i have been to a few thai restaurants this was very authentic and homey, you can tell a recipe was handed down a generation or two really really delicious. At the end of our meal another bartender hooked us up with a thai whiskey and passion fruit drink, which i will be ordering next time! All in all i would say get there with the family, kids, girlfriend or by yourself. You will agree, its another diamond in the rough and welcomed addition to Fort Greene. EDIT: went back for 2nd visit, they only get better. This time Taji took excellent care of me and Mrs. A is the coolest. Excellent spot!

Great ambience and decor but the drinks are highway robbery. Food was delicious but when I went the place was a little sleepy but absolutely beautiful.
