Wise Espresso Bar

Our office is 2751 Coney Island Avenue, and Wise is just up the road at 3120 Coney Island Avenue. I found them on Grubhub and at the beginning of tax seasons, I figured I'd give them a try. Their menu looked really sensational and figured it can't hurt to try it once. Well - it was pretty amazing! The folks there probably will know me by my review - "Steak wrap - hold the peppers - I am allergic". You know when you order something more than 5 times in a row - if its on point every time - you have a really good place! Well I've had about 10 of them over the past month and they were all equally perfect. They also have the most outrageous Lobster Bisque soup! Last night I went there for dinner for the first time. I had my steak wrap, but also tried their steak tartar - and something I might never have tried if I didn't eat there - but a french crepe with goat cheese, chicken, mushrooms, and a side of what was a holondais honey mustard sauce. Just wow.... Five Stars for flavor - Five stars for service - Five stars for QUALITY. Why did I use upper case for quality? Overall - a restaurant is like any other business which is in the food / beverage / service business. You can go the cheap route - or you can spend a little more and have your image be one that is luxurious to the touch. The packaging for the grub hub lunches are in very pricey bags, and the contents are high quality Tupperware holding the food. High quality napkins, and even their plastic forks and knives are not the bendable ones you get from other places. Everything screams "We care about how we look - and want you to know the effort we put in" - Well folks - job well done here. Another point to note - we ordered pellegrino with our dinner last night - and the glasses they use - have their name engraved on them. All these small touches are noticed, believe me. The shrimp cocktail my friend had - had the lemon wedges cut into thinner slices but garnished in between each shrimp so each shrimp had its own wedge. That's classy. That takes thought. They THINK about what will make the customer happy - and that's important! Their drinks are powerful too! No sticking it to the customer there like other places that water down their drinks or at the very least - are more mixer than alcohol. We went on a busy night - but were seated promptly. Waitress was very friendly, and explained anything I needed clarification on (like the crepe - which I never in ordered before). The entrance line of sight has a visual of the desserts - and mama mia...they tasted as good as they looked. I also took some conolis to go for my parents. All in all, if I could give them 6 stars - I would. You should try it! 10 Grubhubs later and 1 in house dining - and not a single flaw found - and believe me after 10 examples - if a mistake were to be made - it would have happened by now. I regret I did not take pictures - but I will do so next time. Can't wait to go back. Guys - please don't change!

This dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. As soon as I stepped inside, I was captivated by the restaurant's exquisite interior. The food surpassed all expectations, earning a perfect 10/10 rating. A standout dish for me was the sumptuous truffle flatbread, a true culinary masterpiece. Complementing the meal was an unforgettable passion fruit margarita that left my taste buds dancing with delight. What truly sets this establishment apart, though, is the impeccable service. Attentive staff were always at our table, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere while checking in on our needs. I am utterly enamored with this place and can't wait to return for another exceptional dining experience.

This is a nice place to come to. The atmosphere is top notch. We came for brunch and unfortunately the food served to us was cold. We had the eggs Benedict. Service was great. I noticed a 10% service charge added to the bill, not sure if that was for the staff or what? Anyway I will give this place a second chance and try dinner next time.

My favorite place in neighborhood. I love the food, the cocktails are great. I had black fettuccine today which was delicious as usual, not overcooked, not super oily creamy. Server Dovut did a great job, he was professional, kind and smily. Highly recommend the place.

I just celebrated my birthday there on December 9th, I got a room only for me and my guests. I had a great time. the food was great, and the service was fantastic. The event coordinator that helped me was Aysel and she was soo cool and understanding to my needs. I would def consider them again.

I made reservations on Resy and the hostess had no clue what I was talking about when I arrived. They said they had a dress code but everyone wore casual clothes. Waiter was courteous, food and drinks arrived promptly. I feel like this place probably has a better vibe at night.
