Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Drove an hour into Brooklyn and regret not visiting sooner.
Similar to Emily in west village and Indulged on their famous “Big Matt” burger and MVP Detroit style pizza.
I thoroughly enjoyed this establishment and can’t wait to be back.
We came here after dinner for a late night snack. There are several other pizzerias in the area but this one didn't have a long line. The restaurant had a few people eating in but there was no hostess to great us. We waited for 10 minutes before just sitting at the bar.
The restaurant had a dark and moody vibe going on. It would be great for a date night or late night hang out. I ordered a vodka pizza to go after finally get the bartender's attention after 20 minutes of waiting. I sat at the bar and it was little weird that no one bussed the bar. I was sitting next to someone's remnants of their meal and it was still there when we left.
The pizza took another 20 minutes to go come out. It was picking hot. I was surprised that they didn't have any containers to put garlic/pepper flakes. The pizza was tasty and delicious. The top was saucy and flavorful with a nice satisfying crunchy crust. The pizza was a bit smaller than I was expecting for the price but it would make a nice once in a while treat.
Really good food that definitely surprised me. There’s some great pizza spots in the area and this is one of them. The burger was also great and took me back since I wasn’t expecting that. It’s Detroit style but they have a ton of options to choose from. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area.
Outdoor seating is across the street from the BQE but it doesn't affect the volume required to hold a conversation. Pizza is delicious! Enjoy the eclectic type of people walking along the sidewalk. Outdoor dog friendly to boot!
Came by recently and had a great experience! I ordered the hurricane, which was made well. Perfect amount of liquor to juice ratio. Then we ordered the mozzarella sticks. They were crunchy and cheesy. Great cheese pull! The marinara sauce that came with it was great as well and wasn’t acidic at all. For our meals we got the MVP and we built a pizza with pesto, bacon and ranch. Bob pizzas were AMAZING. They were so filling we had to take them home, which we weren’t mad at! They taste great even a day later. The ambience was great. The playlist they had on was good too. The service was incredible as well. Tiffany was our server and she was so attentive and friendly! She made us feel so welcomed that now we know we definitely have to come back to this location. A wonderful experience, we can’t wait to visit again!
So we had the big hawaiian pizza..it was so delishh..forget to take the picture because we were so hungry. Their seasonal drink called emotional damage was so gooood! Ariel was our server! Be back for sure
We had the colony pizza and it was amazing! Meatballs and fries are also very good! I suggest making a reservation.
amazing food amazing service amazing atmosphere. come here again and again with friends and family. ask for Stephany or Alex, the managers. last weekend they both helped us book a last-minute table for 15 people! Only place in the area that took our large group. Funny note - One of the coolest restaurant bathrooms I’ve seen!
Amazing pizza & great service. Every time I visit Emmy squared I am always thrilled with my choice. The sauce is phenomenal and unlike others with the thick crust. Big fan of the mozz sticks, MVP pizza, and the burger.
It would be five star if the number of taps they had matched the number of beers they actually serve. Alas, it does not and because of that I ding this place one star which honestly otherwise is one of my favorite places to eat in NYC. Glorious food, truly glorious. Amazing greasy, cheese to the edge and crispy Detroit-Style Pizza. The Colony Squared is my go to. The Big Matt is a great burger, and the waffle fries shame a national chicken chain. The fried chicken is divine. It truly is a wondrous place, save for the beer selection.
