An excellent pub in Brooklyn Heights. The bartender and entire staff are on point, swift and smart. The food is good pub fare, I had the fried chicken sandwich, and while a bit dry, it hit the spot. I’ll be back as often as I can for this staple in NYC pubs. Nachos are great!
I went to this restaurant to meet a friend. The waitress kept interrupting us to ask us what we were going to get from the menu. The food was okay and the atmosphere was ok. It's a little noisy as well. The beer selections were great as well and the food prices were reasonable. I might try it out again in the future.
Had lunch here with my son and husband. The meals were wonderful, the salad I had was flavourful and they even gave me the recipe for the dressing. Good selection of beer. Really cool vintage touches throughout the bar.
Great little watering hole with a surprisingly strong food offering. It looks like the normal pub-grub on the menu (burger, fish and chips) but was all really high caliber and freshly prepared. We were there on a quiet Sunday afternoon and it seems to be set-back far enough from the Dumbo tourist crowd to avoid being packed out, which is a shame for them but makes it a bit of a hidden treasure.
Excellent beer options and friendly staff too.
During our NY visit we have done a nice walk to Brooklyn, that is how we learned about this place. I loved their food and laid back atmosphere. Service was very nice.
This is an quaint pub with great food, good beer, and super service. We sat inside due to the heat but the seating area outside looked nice. Fish 'n chips recommended!
Some of the online menu is not updated, design is meh, but the food was nice and our waitress was lovely. Clean.
Our son is staying at the dorm down the street. Our first time visiting. The waitress was very polite, sweet and helpful.
Great food and fantastic beer selection. Henry Street Ale House is open late, which is pretty unique for the Brooklyn Heights area.
The service has been kind of slow in the past, but I have no complaints beyond that.
I highly recommend the burger and the wings, classic bar bites done right.
They also have a taco Tuesday event every week, which I’m hoping to check out soon.
A cute little pub style bar in the dumbo area that’s open late, had great service, and cheap drinks!
