I'd been waiting almost a year to return, since I went for my my last birthday, and I was not disappointed. The beet salad, Arctic char, and shared lemon custard and chocolate cake were all impeccable. It was crowded and quite loud (a Saturday night -- last time I was there was on a Wednesday) -- and we had a revolving door of servers but all were warm and hospitable. So glad to have The Finch in my neighborhood!
Everything from the space to the service to the food was really super.
Cocktails and wine list was eclectic with fun options.
Bread course is a must and I don't even like bread all that much. Wild mushroom crostini also. Squid ink house made pasta with seafood was outstanding.
What a great experience! The place is located in the heart of Clinton Hill in a charming brownstone and designed beautifully. The food was delicious! The arnchini and Japanese yams were great. The chard lasagna and duck breast are highly recommend. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The Finch is one of the best restaurants discovery we had in a very long time. This Michelin star restaurant is just sublime, very cute and nice interior, with open kitchen in the middle of the restaurant, very attentive staff and food was just perfect. We went for the tasting menu with wine pairing and it was just an explosion of different flavors and very well presented dishes. We loved every single dish and the choice of wine that came with. Please please go and try it yourself, you'll have a great culinary experience. Thanks to all the staff for making our experience just perfect!!!!
My wife brought me here for my 30th and it was nothing but fantastic. We sat at the bar where Noah the bartender ran us through the wine list and menu expertly. The food was incredible. The steak is deliciously tender and tasty but the winner for us was the kale salad, it was ridiculously fresh. The carrot cake is also a must have. Go here if you're in the area!

Nice atmosphere with an opened kitchen in the middle.
The guys were very attentive and the food was really good. The menu it’s quite short, composed by simple dishes made out of top quality ingredients.
We were 2 people and had a couple of entries, two mains and a dessert for sharing. We drink water and pay about 115$ + Tip.
Recomendable!
Great dinner, quality ingredients & atmosphere.
My girlfriend and I are passionate about food and we decided to try this Michelin rated restaurant.
We got a table in the second room, where it was a bit like being at home because of the brownstone look and brick exposed walls.
The ”Bread & Housemade Butter with Nuts & Seeds” and the ”Lemon & Parmesan Arancini with Castelvetrano Olive” were a phenomenal start. They gave us a good shot of flavors, and it was like to rediscover that type of food that you know well, but you now see it from a new perspective.
But it was when we had the delicate Branzino and the tasty Swiss Chard Lasagna, that we really enjoyed our dinner. Olive Oil Cake with Mascarpone and we were happy and ready to go back home.
....service was attentive, warm and they knew when to step in.
Delicious. Went in for a late Sunday brunch around 2pm and had fantastic experience. Made a reservation, but didn't need to. Started with biscuits and butter and split the fried chicken sandwich and the pork belly everything was fantastic. The staff was very attentive but not hovering. Perfect meal for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Truly spectacular, delicious food and excellent cocktails. My date and I shared the duck and the tagliatelle. Both were a delight on the taste buds. My bourbon cocktail was perfectly balanced and my date enjoyed an orange wine from Spain that was complex and delicious. Lots of regional beverage options here. Service was highly efficient and they placed a different set of silverware based on what we were going to eat. Looking forward to coming back and trying some of the other delectable items!
Food, drinks and service was excellent, highlights were the zucchini carpaccio and the maitake toast. One minor negative was that they had 4 cheese choices at $12 each, but one order was a tiny piece of cheese (effectively two small bites) with lots of bread and strawberries and jam on the sides. These cheese quantity should have at least been double for the price and would suggest offering a cheese plate.
Complex flavors, surprising delights, exotic wines. Frankly, the most wonderful meal I've had in a long time. The founder and chef, Gabe is a creative genius. This in my new favorite in Brooklyn.
Really great hangout place + good ambience. Very affordable for a 1-Michelin star New York restaurant. I went with my friend who ate in The French Laundry and she said food is better here.
