Outstanding! Started with a delicious avgolemeno soup. The best seared tuna with risotto that I’ve ever tasted!! Finished our meal with a “windex” shot. Mediterranean atmosphere is beautiful. This is the most authentic Greek cuisine that I’ve tasted in ages. Spiro, the owner, is a very talented chef. Highly recommend!!!
I don’t fo reviews but this place is awesome. The grape leaves out of this world. We got complimentary bread pudding which was outstanding. The staff was as great as the food. If you don’t go here you are cheating yourself

This has been one of my favorite places to eat since 2015. Thought I actually already wrote a review. Spiro & his brother Teddy are consummate hosts & restaurateurs. It's almost like they're on stage presenting you Today's Specials and yet for the audience of one. They do it with aplomb, grace, hospitality, and big smiles always.
Now the food. I've probably had half the entrées, the appetizers, and can't leave without a piece of their. Mouth orgasm delicious bread pudding 😋😍🤤

Food was delicious. Service was good. It's a small family owned place. The owner came out and gave us extra Ouzo on the house. The atmosphere was nice. The place is small and intimate. It reminded me of a tavern in Greece where my grandfather would hang out. If you enjoy Greek food, Athena is a must.
This restaurant has so much character and an authentic feel. Awesome decor inside and a nice outside setup. The owner clearly loves and cares about the place and came over to chat with us several times. We chose a fish roe spread, hummus, and an artichoke spread for the krya. The hummus was delicious and had a unique flavor, the fish roe spread was also good, the artichoke spread I would skip. The grape leaves were some of the best I have had. The gyro and the sausage in the meat platter appetizer were outstanding. Unfortunately the chicken and the pork were overcooked and dry. The branzino was perfectly cooked in a lovely sauce. The kalamata olive mashed potatoes were unique and the green beans were nice, crunchy and lemony.
Found a welcoming place for a very late brunch on Fathers Day. Service was attentive and pet-friendly in an outdoor sitting that was nicely set up. Ordered a bunch of appetizers and salad and had a wonderful time. The calamari was crisp and tender, flambed halloumi cheese was tasty, loved the briny taramosalata dip with pita, giant fava beans in tomato braise, dolmas and
Beet salad.
Got appetizers, entrées and desert, everything was perfect and divine, spectacular cuisine. Went back for a second time and were equally impressed, absolute perfection, can't wait to revisit.

One of our favorite spots in Brooklyn. The food is super fresh. And the chef is always ready with new specials. Sometimes he comes to the table. One time I complimented his string beans and he gave me a tip on how to get my veggies to taste better. The service is the very best. I'm surprised no matter how long it's been, they remember our order. The Greeks invented hospitality, so they truly know how to put the right amount of love into food, and service. Thank you for everything.

The grilled octopus appetizer was stunning. Every dish we ordered was glorious and the owner brought us a slice of baklava cheesecake on the house. 100/10
Very good Greek restaurant. Authentic look, authentic food and drinks with fantastic quality! Good prices. Very, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Highly recommend, just try it and you will be coming back. I got there Greek food, Greek cognac and Greek wine, all was excellent! Person who was servicing as, his name is Spiridon and he is the best!

Went with two friends on Friday night 730pm. It wasn’t as crowded as i thought it might be. This place is a true neighborhood gem. The food was delicious but what makes this place so special is the service and the owner. They were so friendly and helpful and we loved them. They made us feel right at home!
