Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing owner, a must go to even if you are on the other side of New York. Heck we live in Virginia and it’s one of the main reasons we went to New York. I asked some friends of mine that live in New York the first time about the best Peruvian food in New York. They sent us here and I have never been disappointed. Love this place a must try!!!!!!
My favorite Peruvian place in NYC I’ve been coming here 8 years! We even bought a house in Westchester and make the drive to Brooklyn just to have the Lomo Saltado. Great owners great atmosphere, don’t expect cheap prices it’s not some taco joint. Plan on spending over an hour here for great food that they take there time making! The owner is always so kind and is always in the restaurant to make sure everyone is have a great experience. You won’t regret coming here unless your in hurry for that go to Bedford plenty of cheap fast food. Xxoo
The seviche is amazing. Great price on pitcher of sangria. Fried calamari is a must. Service was fast. Family frienly. Less than 10 minute wait for table. Music was great, not too loud. Will go again!!
Been dining here off an on for a few years whenever I am in the area. Food never disappoints. The mussels and entrana (skirt steak) with sweet plantains are my go to appetizer and entree.
8 pm, Saturday night, place was packed!! Warmly greeted by the owner. Quickly seated, ordered, food came fast (Lomo Saltado, fried plantains - with a refreshing Mojito Passion fruit! (Yummy!!)) Warm and courteous wait staff - highly recommended will return!!
Great authentic Peruvian food!
The only reason I am not giving this place 5 stars is because they are a bit unorganized in the seating since the place is so packed. Also, expect to wait 25+minutes for your food. However, it is well worth the wait!
I am Peruvian and have tried almost all the Peruvian places in Manhattan. This is my new go-to spot in NYC. Very attentive service, and excellent food. Portions are generous. Highly recommended.
This place has been my GO To several times for good service, food, and atmosphere! they have a Sangria that is awesome!!! if you order a pitcher you may find yourself catching a Uber home! Ha Ha they have an awesome Green Spaghetti pasta with a steak...their Ceviche is to die for! the best I have had overall. Best Peruvian restaurant in Brooklyn! You owe it yourself to try this place. you are missing out! it is well worth your trip!
We sat outside in the back because it had cute artwork and colored light bulbs. The sangria was amazing. The food did take a while to prepare but it was worth the wait. I would return.
Had a really fun evening here. Atmosphere was great - very cozy with fun music (which wasn’t too loud!) Had a tasty passion fruit mojito mocktail that was perfect for my dry January. Dinner was the Lomo Soltado. I’d recommend this place with friends or alone!

Food and drinks on the money
One of my favorite restaurants that I’ve been to!!! We stumbled upon this place accidentally when it was raining and were looking to grab dinner at the closest restaurant—and we were so glad we did! Every dish we had was amazing and cooked to perfection. We got the plaintains, ceviche and lomo saltado—highly recommend them all. I can’t wait to go back!
