Hands down my favorite bakery of all time! This place is truly a gem. The owners (parents and their grown children) are delightful and the baked goods are gorgeous and delicious to boot. My almost 3 year old is obsessed, with the family of bakers first, and then with their cookies. His favorites are the m&m, pink hearts with jelly, and sprinkle cookies. I think their chocolate lace are the best. Their hamburger cake is always a party hit, and no one can believe that it tastes as delicious as it looks. For Thanksgiving this week, we had the turkey cake; it really looked like a roasted turkey. Inside was cannoli cream and vanilla cake-perfection.

Besides the best cannolis in the area, awesome and helpful staff. Thanks for your kind care after my little 'spill' this afternoon! Happy Holidays! :D

The thing I loved when I entered this bakery was how it genuinely felt like an authentic Italian bakery. When I came in there was amazing aroma of all the baked goods. The smell of all those Italian cookies was amazing. When I saw everything in the display cases it was all beautifully presented. Everything looked amazing. Once again I always get overwhelmed when I see all the amazing baked treats that I don’t know what to get because I want everything. Lol! For my first visit I bought some fig and chocolate cookies. They were delicious! The staff were very nice to me. Overall this is a beautiful Italian bakery in a wonderful neighborhood. I would definitely come back again to try out more delicious baked treats.

I love this truly authentic Italian pasticcheria and bakery. The selection of dolci is fantastic, as are their cookies, and varieties of marzipan fruits. I’ve never seen such a display of beautifully shaped marzipan in any pastry shop in my many decades in NYC. The cannolis are outstanding. I also tried the sesame cookies which are wonderful. Really such a delight to shop at this pasticcheria. I will return often.

My first experience with Monteleone was amazing! I heard they had the best rainbow cookies in Brooklyn, so I had to give it a try. And it totally deserves the rep! I also got the Tiramisu, two chocolate cannolis, and a mini cake with Nutella mousse. Absolutely delicious compared to my usual neighborhood bakery. You can taste the freshness, and the desserts are not overly sweet. Definitely coming back!

Got my son (and myself in the past) birthday cakes here. Their cake is always delicious and moist for literally days afterwards. You can order by phone for basic cakes but if want anything custom, you have to go there to order.

Delicious and fresh Italian pastries. Excellent canoli. They also have Italian gelatto, coffee and a hamburger-shaped cake. Small cakes cost $ 2 each, but if you take a dozen it comes out $ 20. There are a couple of comfortable tables outside. The staff are very friendly. I got great recommendations on the choice of cakes. Accessible for a wheelchair. Yummy, I like that place 😘

I came here on my second day in New York. Villabate Alba was closed for the first half of August for holidays, so I did a search and came up with Monteleone’s and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. In my opinion, one of the best traditional Italian pasticceria’s in the world which reminded me of the old country. Try the cannoli, lobster tail and marzipan. If I ever come back to New York I will return here for my dolci. BELLISSIMI!

Enjoyed goodies from this fine Brooklyn NY pastry shop. Everything is made with love. Friendly staff. Met little Auggie outside.
