The ambiance is very welcoming, the service is spot on and the food is absolutely delicious!!! Highly recommend this place to everyone. It's a bit pricey for some items but it makes up in flavor.... Worth the visit.
A decent size restaurant that provides eat in as well as take out orders especializing in Spanish food. They offer a variety of alcoholic beverages, as well as some tropical fruit juices. The establishment is neat and clean. They have a friendly staff, and the food is good.
However, they have a limited variety, as well as availability on their ready made food options at the counter. Most of the menu is made to order. They do have TVs on the walls to provide some sort of entertainment. They have an awkward privacy panel/room divider that separates the counter from the dining room. Seems a somewhat awkward and out of place.
Overall, this is a nice place to ocasionally grab a quick meal with good flavor and great seasoning. One of the better ones in the area. Four stars.
It's a cozy place with delicious food, a must go see for yourself!!!
The food is good, not great, but it is conveniently located, so it works. They're pretty clean and friendly. We've dined in and enjoyed their margaritas (take advantage of their happy hour). Delivery takes forever, I rather pick it up.
Good first time here, will return!

Great food and nice atmosphere. They had 3$ happy hour which was great if you needed a place to get a drink and food that’s in the neighborhood. Food Portions we’re large and the prices were great. Service could of been a little faster but besides that would definitely recommend
Your be surprised how a small place have this much flavor and authentic Dominican food. Everything was delicious 10 of 10
Best mofongo I've had, and an extensive list if choices. Also really enjoyed the "Domican nachos" - better than the nachos in most Mexican restaurants, with fresh made tortilla chips and pieces of fried pork on top. Service was friendly and very accommodating for our large group.
My husband and I were visiting from Maryland and The Caribe popped up as the closest restaurant to us. The staff were beyond friendly and accommodating (it was our first time here and we needed help with the menu). The food was AMAZING!!! I had mofundo for the first time (with seafood) and I am now hooked! My husband had a huge platter of shrimp in a red sauce with red beans and rice... both were super good. Also, I had a real Caribbean mojito and it was GREAT! If you are in the Bronx, you must stop here!
