They've substantially upped their game over the past couple of years. Good for them! Extra star... bagels are good. The best bronx bagels are still from Empire Bagel but this is a good stop for the close proximity to the hospital
I walked into the store and took a look at the bagel and cream cheese display. There were only a handful of choices available so my expectations were set kind of low to begin with. I asked for a blueberry bagel, which they didnt have. Even though I knew that the selection was limited, I was still caught off guard as I had never really seen a bagel shop that didnt have blueberry bagels. So i got an everything bagel with lox cream cheese which to my surprise, was actually very good. I guess never judge a book by its cover. They seem to be good with the items that they do serve. I would go back for a quick bite.

I’ve had almost every flavor and they’re all so good. I love the French Toast bagel, and the plain is NYC bagel perfection. You’ve gotta try the bacon and cheddar cream cheese, so good! Their lox and pastrami lox are super fresh and makes the perfect bagel & lox sandwich, you gotta try it. And to top it off they have Lavazza espresso drinks. I have yet to try their lunch but they have salads and sandwiches as well.
It’s a big, bright clean space with plenty of places to sit if you want to dine in. I’ll be back!
The best bagel shop ever. The owner is amazing. The staff is very polite. This bagel shop is the best in NYC. Must visit.
This was my husband and I’s second time here. The lavender honey latte was magical and the food was pretty good too. I think we’ve found our new favorite breakfast place.
This place is wonderful, the food is amazing, the place is clean, big and the staff are very friendly. I was at the Montefiore Hospital and would come here every morning to eat breakfast fir the entire week. However they're all over the place, no one has a specific task and they don't have an organized system. But if business gets better they will need to bring some major changes.
The bagels are really really good! The sandwiches however, they seem to skimp out on the meat. The bacon egg and cheese I ordered had only a single strip of bacon 🤨.
On another note, the place looked closed from the outside, a good amount of the light bulbs inside weren't working / weren't turned on.
Good food and great service. My two year old knocked my coffee and it spilled all over the table and floor. The staff was very understanding and even offered to replace my coffee. Had a very tasty bagel, scallion cream cheese, bacon, egg and cheese with medium coffee+almond milk for almost $6!! I'm def coming back with that deal.
