It hits the spot every time! Chicharron de pollo mofongo with queso is to die for. We love the portions and food quality. Happy hour drinks are delicious-- best mojito 2 for one deal.
I've been here before but won't be back again service was terrible waitress brought wrong food was on lunch and they were not accommodating stay away

Service from wait staff is great! I visit every Sunday after Church and I'm always treated with optimal service and amazingly tasty food. I recently catered food for a grand birthday and Everyone loved the food. Even though the staff that handed off the food to my delivery person did not account for each tray and ended up leaving one behind, we made it work before the guests started to arrive. The prices are appropriate also!
Very good Spanish food. The staff of ladies in the take out area are so nice and accommodating. The coffee is really good, and the lunch plates are plentiful. Cash and credit is accepted, credit is a $10 min. Street parking only.

I think it is a good place to buy good food, but not a must. I liked the food I received and the amount I paid even though it could be considered a bit expensive.
I ordered a club sandwich and a "morir soñado" beverage. I won't deny the presentation for my plate was really good. They put on top of the fries, bacon. The fries were really good (I think they were the best part of the plate, which is sad when my plate was a sandwich). I really like the Club Sandwich, and price for it was approximately 7~8 dollars.
Now about the beverage, I didn't like it. At all. We couldn't finish it. Actually didn't mention it to the person attending us, so I cannot tell about my experience with complaints. We just didn't finish it, and ate our food.
About the place, it looks small even though I didn't get to the end. We sat at the beginning. Service was okay, and I think there is a lot to improve. No credit/debit cards were accepted when we went (they said it was a problem with the machine).
I would go if I would like to eat some Latin food but wouldn't my first option to be a recurrent customer because of the price.

I really dont know how to properly rate this restaurant. The service is exemplary, the food is excellent, the natural juices, mix drinks and cocktails are concocted to the cusp of perfection. The only problem, in my opinion, is that this restaurant is too expensive. I try to be reasonable and understand the economics of running a restaurant, maintaining health standards, and employing waitstaff with legitimate wages. Also, we cant dismiss the venue is located at a prime corner area with heavy foot traffic. Makes me believe they are more than likely getting pounded on rent expenses. Those are just my assumptions. There are similar restaurants in the area selling the same food at a lower price. Which is why its difficult for me to gauge the justification on their higher prices. BUT Caribe DOES offer probably the best tasting food and experience in the area (maybe that can justifiy the higher prices). Again, thats just my perception of taste and experience. I dont frequent this restaurant as much as I would like too, because of the costs. But I do support local businesses. Sometimes I'll take the family there to dinner. Ocassionally, when a deal closes, I'll meet up with a client or business associate to celebrate. One last thing to consider, before I forget, is the food portion and serving sides. I believe the portions are fair and probably the same as the neighboring restaurants. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
You're going to Caribe is you want a quality Dominican meal that doesn't break the bank. I find their prices to reasonable and they have quick takeout service. If you're in the area and it's lunch time, go to Caribe their lunch specials are lit.
