Ambiance and decor is good. Mac and Cheese was not the best. The meatball and spaghetti’s need at least two more meatballs to justify the price. The drinks were good. The server was new and super attentive. She did forget to take some of our drink orders but she came around and took those who did not place them. This place is great to gather with friends and have a drink. I wasn’t personally fond of their dishes or the quality of the food. The establishment is awarded four stars based on decor, ambiance, hospitality and quality of food.

Lovely option for a team dinner, group of four arrived for an early dinner at about 5pm, place was empty, but great for us! Street parking was available, pretty sure that is not always the case. Solid service, great food, vibe and music being played was really nice. We all enjoyed our meals and would recommend the location.

An awesome staff! I can't say that enough. Now with both inside and heated outside dining. I ordered the Gran Mimosa (prosecco and Grab Marnier). I was here for brunch so i ordered the Eggs Benedict. This version doesn't come with the traditional canadian ham, but with a mouth watering braised short ribs. Be local. Stay local. The Hill Bistro has an awesome menu that anyone would want to explore. You will see me here again, soon.

Okay this was a find based on the tip of another spot I have yet to try, but saw this place along the way and knew I had to come back. Well yesterday was the day post beauty domestics run amongst a hot wave no cooking was to be done. Enter the Hill Bistro, apparently mid Sunday evening is the sweet spot because business shortly picked up. The intro from my initial walk in was good all staff from the bar to reception (having a brain fart - I know there is a different reference/name). Libations: Strawberry Mojito #delish ample sizing So due to the heat tapas was all I could walk through. Starters: Oysters Half Dozen with Cocktail Sauce Grilled Octopus (Spaniard Octopus) Onions, Greens and Lemon Spiced Panko Shrimp Carrot Artichoke Slaw Cream Of Tomato Soup with Mozzarella Bruschetta Toast The Oysters we're fresh and buttery, shrimp seasoned and crispy, the octopus decent, and the tomato soup was okay, a little tart but doable among all of the other starters. Side note: I rather enjoy a good cocktail and there was a treat during this visit with what I assume to be the interview of a new bartender. The display of his mixology was just pure artistry #AmazeBalls to watch. Plus the cocktails looked interesting and tasty. I think this will become a regular local treat/self rejuvenation for myself.

Ambiance is great. Dim lighting with a movie or game playing on the wall (projector doing the work). Drinks were great. Old fashioned was fantastic. Food was good too. I had a pan seared cod. Definitely recommend it. Along with the crab cakes. Service is was exceptional. Will definitely return!

Went for brunch, the food was veru enjoyable. Spirited with a sense of sophistication. The staff was friendly and eager to please. Sometimes that's all you need to make the difference.

Very Cozy, The ambience established was on point, brick and rustic. The huckleberry drink served by the very pleasant & Beautiful bartender Gwen, it did its job, Iggy the owner was pleasant. The waffle batter chicken tenders were very tasty. They have a music weds, I was there on a Friday to see a talented soulful Australian artist named #Alysonmusic.

Absolutely PHENOMENAL food and service! I happened to just find this restaurant in Yelp and decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. We had the spinach artichoke dip and waffle chicken for apps and I had the veal chop as an entree. Everything was so well prepared and flavorful. The veal chop had a perfectly crispy skin that complemented the tender juiciness of the cut. The staff was friendly and had the right level of attentiveness (I'm not a fan of places where people come by every minute to ask if you're ok). The owner, Iggy, even came out to have a chat with us as we were wrapping up. I will definitely be back and HIGHLY recommended!

I’ve lived in Riverdale for about 5 years and I never thought to try this place but I’m so glad I finally did! Their ambiance is great & their food was amazing. Definitely going to be coming here often whenever I feel like eating out but don’t want to go too far.
