From out of town…found this hidden gem. Been here twice and will be back more as I visit family in the area! Friendly staff. Fabulous food and plenty to take home and enjoy the next day!
Came here for dinner with my girlfriend. Can’t say enough good things about the food! The food was amazing, definitely get the calamari. We parked in the public municipal lot down the street very safe and secure. Definitely recommend coming here.
Amazing food, great atmosphere and above all… authentic. Came back here after 17 years and then only thing that changed is my weight since then. :)
You feel like you are in a movie. Amazing food, wine and service. Make sure you order the house wine.
A true Arthur ave restaurant experience. Went for lunch and lord was it good. Large and delicious portions. Waiter was so knowledgeable about the menu and so patient. I had veal parm and my wife had fucilli . What an awesome sauce. We had a cannoli, fresh and so crispy. The best ever. They have parking around the corner and if you validate the ticket it’s free. Loved it.
My grandparents used to come here for date nights back in the day. My mother and I decided to make a trip to their old neighborhood and visit their favorite restaurant. It’s exactly as expected with beautiful low lights, comforting music, and delicious food. I highly recommend the penne alla vodka and any glass of red. The pasta is fresh and the bread is warm. Make sure to order a bit extra bread to get all the extra sauce. It’s worth it. We will definitely be back.
Big portions, friendly services, authentic Italian…. What’s not to like about this place? The bread was hot and fresh, the chicken parmigiana with spaghetti hit the spot and the tiramisu was light and airy. I loved the whole experience and they have complimentary parking. There is adequate outdoor seating too.
Went for a bday. Staff is primo. All the food was good. This page needed a lot more pics of the dishes. You’re welcome.
The antipasto per person was a must. They got all the tastes on there. Calamari, asparagus, baked clams, some roasted peppers.
I’m so stuffed. Thanks Mario’s.
The comment about the owner being a racist is both offensive and laughable. My family of color has been eating at Mario's for 50 years. We have been celebrating special occasions here for decades. My parents took us here, we took our children and now our children take their children. They have always treated us like family. My Dad passed away a week before Father's Day in 2002, the Migliucci family delivered a fully catered spread to our home in his honor. The food and service has always been top notch. There's a reason why they've been in business for over 100 years!!
