I recently tried their chicken Roti and Goat Roti. Both the items were decent and the prices are very reasonable. The Roti was somewhat different in texture and very unique.
So glad I came upon this place during my visit to Boston. I would categorize it as a chipotle style restaurant featuring Caribbean/India food. You pick the meat or veg option and the up to 3 sides and all of it comes wrapped in a large roti (wrap). I recommend going with rice as one of the sides. The chicken curry was very favorable! Note that the food can be a bit tricky to eat with just a fork.
Excellent west Indian food.
Love the Roti. Have been enjoying their Roti for long time, started from there original branch in Mattapan.
Prices are gone little expensive now perhaps due to everything being costly.
So good! I went closer to when they opened on a Tuesday and it smelled so good just walking in. I got the curry beef, rice and peas and cabbage as well as a stewed chicken plate with rice and peas chick peas and cabbage. I also got 2 drinks. I haven't eaten this good in such a long time. So good, to the point I was lamenting I don't live close by. Worth every penny. They were nice and direct. I had an issue with a drink and they are letting me swap it out no problem.
Pictures I took didn't do the food justice, which is why I didn't post them.
Caribbean food NOT Asian, so you can have the right flavor expectations.
There is a step up to get in, just FYI for any of us with mobility issues. Worth the trip.
So glad I went and you should too. No this is not paid, after so many food disasters since moving to Mass, this was the ray of sunshine I needed. Go eat.
Roti and filing options are made with love. The roti was perfectly made, it had the right flavor and flaky texture. Everything I ordered was seasoned perfectly; the potatoes, cabbage, chicken, string beans, and chickpeas. I definitely recommend you try this roti. Building is old but inside restaurant was clean, spacious , and had plenty of seating so eating in an option.
The food here is absolutely amazing! I can't believe how good it is! The staff are really nice as well.
Excellent, best roti place hands down, everything is fresh and prepared no waiting, . I had the chicken roti, I plan to roll back thru soon again...

Ali's Roti is my FAVORITE restaurant in Boston fir a Trinidadian Roti. The curry goat, beef, chicken, and shrimp are all delicious here! They also serve King Fish and Red Snapper but will sell out of it by the afternoon usually so keep that in mind. There is a very limited number of staff here as it is a small family owned business so sometimes you'll have to wait in line, but the food is always worth the wait!
Delicious rotis! Came for lunch and everything was freshly prepared. Small place but there is some amount of seating.
The odor is strong, it’ll get on your clothes and the heat. However the food is good
