Decent Asian bakery. Great offerings, very Taiwanese. Pork sun bread, mochi bread, taro bread and red bean bread were all some of the well-known popular items.
Pork bun was delicious. The fillings were well flavored, but lacks salt. Overall still fairly tasty.
At first I was like "why are 4 small buns $10?" Then I tried them and they were really really good. I really liked the egg yolk in the middle and the layered, flakey dough. Absolutely worth it. Pictured: 3 red bean buns, because I ate one.
Abseloutly amazing pork buns! Such a cute place and the staff was so friendly and helpful to help me find what i was looking for. An absolute must - all of the buns are to die for!!! And The price is amazing!
LOVED everything at this bakery. Excellent quality and variety of desserts, friendly staff, and very organized and clean. I ordered a strawberry roll and couldn't get enough. It was so soft and delicious! There are so many sweets and pastries you can try that it'd be easy for me to buy one of each. Definitely stop in if you're in the area and grab yourself a treat!
Taiwanese cuisine has several variations. The earliest known cuisines of Taiwan are that of the Taiwanese indigenous peoples. With over a hundred years of historical development, mainstream Taiwanese cuisine has been influenced by Hakka cuisine, the cuisines of the waishengren, Japanese cuisine, and American cuisine. Although southern Fujian cuisine has had the most profound impact.
Very clean. Goods were nicely packaged and had clearly labeled prices. Many newer style buns compared to the standard hotdog bun, pork bun, beef bun and egg tart.
went last night while walking around chinatown while visiting boston, staff was very sweet and friendly and bread was tasty! i got the tiramisu cake, strawberry raw milk cake (i’m not sure what it was called), and a drink for around $10! bread is good and worth the price, will come back when in the area! 😸
9/10 🤩 nice price and pretty visual:) cheesecake 8/10, shredded pork cake 9/10, the buttery cake w sugar on top 6/10
Authentic Chinese bakery.
Purchased an egg tart and ate it the day after. Although no reheat, the egg tart was still pretty tasty. Good balance of sweetness, egg and milk!
Excellent small bakery. I went to 5 bakeries in Chinatown and it was the only place that I could find rice cake for New Year. Cash only if under $10. Tax free for 6 or more items.
