Outstanding! Now I understand the hype. Both burger and fried chicken sandwich were sensational. The reggae playlist and service also top notch.
The burger craving hit, and Bred delivered. It is located in the Lower Mills on Dorchester Ave, with plenty of street parking. The inside has some bar seating along the wall, as well as an outside bench.
All of the burgers on the menu have tons of ingredients, which elevate them to the status of "gourmet." I went with the Bred Classic, since you can never go wrong with the burger that's named after the joint. I waited around ten minutes after placing my order. The brioche bun was soft and buttery, and the patty had a nice, smoky taste. The bacon was fatty and crispy. Honestly, I had no complaints and would come back again to try more from their menu.
Burger was perfect. Sweet potato fries were fabulous! Like eating sweet potato pie! Definitely going back to tey the Wiscansin (their spelling, not mine!). Met the owner. He was sweet and very humble!
The food here is very good! The Caribbean flavors make it a special experience with each bite.
Had a great experience here! I got the Maui and my girlfriend got the Marley, both were delicious and the Cajun fries on the side made it perfect! Service was a little slow but we came at a busy time so it made sense, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get a high-quality burger in a relaxed atmosphere!
Oh this place is delicious. I’m coming from VA so I have high expectations for smoked wings - and this definitely came through. I got the smoked wings and waffles 🧇 and tried both their Jerk and their sweet chili flavors - both were bomb.
The chicken is smoked perfectly - fall off the bone tender. I just know they smoked it for hours. The jerk is spicy of course so watch out for that if you don’t like spice 🌶 . But the sweet chili one isn’t very spicy, so it’s a good option for spice lovers and haters alike. They also give you 6 girthy wings - they don’t play you by giving you tiny wings. I was full off of the one meal and even had some leftover.
Also, I recommend their smoothies. I had the strawberry banana one and it was DELICIOUS. They sweeten it with dates, rather than sugar, so it’s also better for you health-wise.
All in all, the food, atmosphere, vibe, and friendly service was worth going and coming back. Get the smoked wings. Get the smoothie. You’re welcome.
Creative and flavorful burgers! The sweet potato fries are addictive. I found the meat to be a bit disappointing in quality.
I’m sorry say this but the staff… although they do work hard to get all the orders filled. Friendliness and customer service is obviously not a priority.
The food was delicious.
Burgers were very good and service was friendly. The first photo on Google Maps shows a burger wrapped in tinfoil, but don't be fooled into thinking that's what the in-store experience is like! The Cajun fries were also really tasty (and SPICY). Medium burger was a little closer to medium-well, but still very good and juicy. We will be back!
Had a great dinner here a week ago. Our first time back since opening and a lot has changed. It is great to have seating in the restaurant and the menu offers some variety. We didn't like the french fries after opening but this time they were fabulous. The spicey ketchup is great, could even be spicier for us! Our burgers were not cooked well after opening in that they were slightly cooked only on the outside edge and the inside was very unevening cooked, one side brown the other bright reddish pink. Our burgers this time were cooked perfectly and what a fantastic burger flavour! This place is often busy, which I know because I often by this restaurant frequently. Many to go orders. Seating is minimal and there is a restroom. We will be back!
