Pretty good chicken parm in a cozy, if uninteresting local place.

Came here on a Wednesday evening and the place was empty, which is always a little unnerving. But it was good. The guy there asked if wanted to go or to sit, I chose to sit. I ordered a chicken parm and diet coke, which came to about $15 before tip.
The coke was cold, fizzy, and nice and "fountain-y". Honestly a superb soda.
The sandwich came out after about 10 minutes. It was by no means the best chicken parm I've ever had, but it was solid. Bread was was a little soggy near the bottom/middle, but that's to be expected. It was otherwise nice and crispy. The sauce was tasty and the right amount. The cheese was also just the right amount and nice and stretchy. The chicken was good, but a little tough in places. I also got a couple gnarly, tendon-y bits, but that happens. It was nice and big, too, the kinda thing that if I wanted to could save them other half for later. Overall a solid chicken parm that I'd be happy to get again, but I wouldn't say come here to get it.
The guy who served me was friendly. There wasn't much for him to do, so I can't say much more.
The bathroom was nice and clean. The restaurant itself was also clean and pretty simple. Seems likea decent spot that locals would frequent but nobody would go out of their way to go to.
i wish i could give more pictures but we ate our food before i could have a photo shoot, we got mediterranean pizza and it was splendid, garlicky, feta was delicious, tomatoes cut nicely, spinach well dispersed, if you like thick pizza you might not be a fan but it hit the spot for us. i was delighted to find the jalapeño poppers are made with cream cheese, they were delightful. good reviews on the ribs from the rest of my party, coleslaw and mashed potatoes that came with were delicious.
Every time I come here the fingers are always hot. The pizza and calzones are big and delicious. The pasta is my favorite pasta in the area with the texture and quality. My go to restaurant when I don't know where to go.
Pizza was delicious. Meat lovers wasn't greasy, and the thin crust was the right amount of crisp and chewy.
Went in for breakfast and while the service was wonderful and the atmosphere was great, the food was just OK..but I'll go back again for sure.
Reliable and delicious food, my go-to takeout for pizza and calzones, and the employees are really nice too
Great pizza, sandwiches and breakfast. Hole in the wall but a great Southie experience off the beaten path
Lou is a fantastic cook and Lisa is a wonderful server/front of house person. The L Street Diner and Pizzaria will be on my short list of stop whenever I am in Boston. The warm, welcoming environment and delicious food should put this little diner on everyone's short list when you are in the area. I have already 'favorite-ed' it in my Google Maps. I look forward to coming back!

Nice local diner for reasonable comfort food... always pretty good food and hot. Beer/wine ok . Pizza is good and the pizza guys always good natured and welcoming to you!! Stop in, go with the flow, and enjoy! Local small time stops are the best.
Cozy atmosphere. Good for breakfast.
