You can't get better ice cream anywhere else! The best for decades! Glad they are in Dedham as well as Hyde Park now.
Love this place. The best ice cream and great bowling fun. Come here. Bring your family. You will love it!
The best in Boston. They'll make any cake for you and understand food allergies. Wonderful real ice cream.
Amazingly old school, no frills candlepin bowling plus creamy, dense ice cream. Delicious. A regular size is almost too much for one person.
Best ice cream in the universe!
Candlestick Bowling that has amazing ice cream. Tried Eggnog and Apple Pie flavor.
The Apple Pie flavor has apple chunks, pie crust, apple flavored cream. It tastes exactly like apple pie.
Can't wait to try other flavors!
Friend tried Ice Cream Sandwiches and was in love with the creaminess.
I absolutely loved the ice cream. I took the rum raisin and it was seriously one of the best I’ve ever had. Not too strong, creamy, even the little cone was actually pretty good.
The girls were really nice too. We haven’t played bowling but it could have been fun!
The place itself doesn’t like much but really recommend it!
Came here for candlepin bowling and ice cream with my Little. We had a great time. Prices are affordable. When we arrived there was no wait for a lane. Great for kids and birthday parties.
Pizza was ok it’s basically like Chuckie Cheese.
Was able to park on Everett Street for free. There’s also a municipal lot across the street
Their website pricing is out of date, but pricing only went up about 10-15%. $4 for shoe rental. $5 per person per game for bowling
They make their own ice cream and have candle pin bowling. Not many places like this left. A true gem and definitely a taste of the old school. Please support this place as it truly is great and very authentically Boston.
Our first time there! Incredible place for bowling! BEST ICE CREAM WE HAVE EVER HAD. 🍦😋 can’t wait to go back to this hidden gem! Staff was so helpful and friendly! ❤️
This place was here back in 1981 when I was a baby and is still going strong. Walked by today and couldn't believe it's still around and about a month ago I walked by with young teens working here and a line of people inside getting ice cream and bowling like it was the hippest part of Hyde Park & Boston like it was the swinging 60s and everyone was having a blast! This same building on the back side, around back had a karate place called "One Step Beyond" I went to as a kid. Really no windows to this bowling alley but it does have a vibe in it.
Ron's ice cream is a must stop over, if you are looking for landmarks in Boston. The ice cream is phenomenal, and always made in their kitchen. Candle pin bowling is a very rare New England game, and they have 12 lanes where you can enjoy yourself, have a pizza, and always leave entertained.
The staff has been very nice. The bowling is reasonably priced. The ice cream was really good. The peanut butter ice cream was very memorable.
Great experience as we take a few residents from Blake Estates here once every three months
1st time trying this style of bowling and had a blast! Ron was a great help explaining it and clearly cares that everyone has a wonderful time. Nothing fancy and a bit manual but super fun all the same. The kids 3-6yrs old did great and loved the smaller bowling balls. The ice cream was superb and the pizza smelled amazing, wish we got some!
