Visited this awesome pub/restaurant when I was in Boston. Truly amazing food and the service was top notch too. It was too cold to eat outside but the patio looked like a great spot to down magners over ice on a sunny day. I wish we had a bar like this in Los Angeles.
The staff was so helpful and accommodating. We made a reservation for 15-20 people. The service was great as was the food and drinks. Prices are very reasonable too. Definitely recommend it.
I had a wonderful dinner with a friend at The Blarney Stone. The server was very friendly, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. My invoice had an ectra fee which the server explained to us. Please review your receipt prior to paying with your credit card. You will be charged an extra fee which is fully disclosed on a table top dessert menu? I paid in cash in order to avoid paying extra fees. The server said the owner started adding the extra fee a few months ago?
We enjoyed our meal here, coming around Brunch time but choosing from both the Brunch and Lunch menus. The food was delicious, great portions for the cost and definitely hearty comfort food! The staff were super friendly and attentive and helped make our dining experience pleasant and cosy.
Your stereotypical American fare restaurant. Nice and comfortable neighborhood place, the kind of spot with a lotta regulars and feels pretty inviting, even if you've never been there before.
The outside dining area looked pretty, but the day we went was too hot to be outside. Indoors was a mix of leather covered booths and tables, great for intimate dates or large groups.
The food was nice, and the service was ok (not a lotta people, but we had to wait to order and get the check but will update next time I go).
Overall, pretty nice place to go for a meal or a drink and watch the game.
Went here twice, the price was really good and the service, ok. The fish and chips excellent. There was 4 of us and everyone loved the food. Will defiantly go again when visiting Boston. Also, many other big shops around there and big parking lot. Martin.
Strawberry Margaritas are to die for! Light & extremely refreshing! The Chilean wings, Chiken fingers, cheese burgers spring rolls, vegetable quesadillas & the bruschetta were all delish.
I'm not a drinker but I often come here for their food and I'm never disappointed. The food is amazing and the service is always great. The brunch options are great, also check out their Steak Frites. It's delicious. Very nice and cozy bar/restaurant.
The food here is great! I tried a jasmice rice bowl and it was delicious. The drinks were alright. They do charge a fee if credit card is used.
I requested a salad without
3 of the ingredients. It arrived with 2 of them separate, but server was unsure if the third was in the salad or not, so took it back to check. It was delicious & my friends enjoyed their meals, too.
The Blarney Stone has been a fixture on Dorchester Ave for decades. It has been gentrified by way of a complete makeover eight or nine years ago. It was a dark and gritty place in the eighties and nineties, which drew a seedy crowd of ne'erdowells and perpetual day-drinkers. But like a lot of Dorchester, things have greatly improved in the aesthetic, and the Blarney Stone is no exception.
You'll find the place to feel bright, clean, and modern, with a less-than-typical Irish Pub feel, which in no way detracts from the atmosphere. Rest assured, a good portion of the staff are from the "old country", and there is enough Irish themed decor as well as Irish food on the menu to set the tone. The liquor selection is more than adequate, as is their bevvy of bottled and draft beers. The Guinness is always poured the right way, and it's always fresh.
The menu is not vast, but there is plenty to choose from and ALL of it is good. The Quality and Quantity of the food is great. Their chef, yes Chef,.. Not short-order cook, knows what he's doing. You definitely get your money's worth in both aspects.
My favorite part of the menu is that brunch goes until 3pm, so a late order of French toast and sausage can be had for a late lunch. The steak tips and fish tacos (grilled or fried) are both a must-try.
The bathrooms are always clean and well-stocked. They take both cash and credit-card. The only downside is parking. The adjacent lot by McD's is a strict 2 hours and street spots are at a premium. It's well worth the effort to try though. Great spot for lunch, dinner, or just a quick stop for a cold beverage.
Perfectly cooked Steak Tips! And those Brussel Sprouts! 👌🏾👍🏾🤤💯 And don't forget about the Caesar Salad...add the succulent Shrimp!
