Publik House is a restaurant located right at the Boston airport so it’s a good option for people traveling, or for people coming to drop or pick up friends and family.
It’s a nice place good for having a quick hearty meal with friends or Family (even alone).
Staff is courteous and helpful, Food is good.
You must try their steakhouse burger which was great.
Economic too. 👍🏻👍🏻
I had dinner here tonight while staying at the hotel. I would normally have ventured out to one of my local favourite places but it was a long day. Thus, I am the captive audience others have mentioned.
Originally encouraged by the host to sit at the bar, I complied only to discover no seat at the bar. They have a secondary bar area which is the bartenders' responsibility but you're obligated to make your way to the bar to order. Honestly it's not a good set up. To the credit of the manager he saw me, thought I might be ticked about it (I wasn't) and moved me to a table. Marks for caring enough to check. And the waitress was pleasant too.
From an atmosphere perspective it's nice enough - dark woods, lots of Windows and light provided by the lobby. Lots of TVs too, if you're looking to watch the game.
At the recommendation of other reviewers I ordered pizza, and observed that generally the menu is overpriced for pub food, although within typical range for a hotel restaurant, especially near a major airport.
The pizza was good, not great. There are better in East Boston, but again I chose convenience so I don't get to complain about it. By the way, the manager brought it to my table as the server was busy. That guy gets top marks.
Here is the bottom line - this is one of the better airport hotel restaurant experiences I've had. If I'm comparing it to some of the great places I've been to in East Boston or Back Bay, it doesn't measure up. That said, in a major city like Boston that's a big ask. I think the criticism by others here is a little unfair. It's not bad. But it should be understood that you are paying a premium for convenience so be reasonable in your expectations. I'd come here again.
I read the negative reports on this place. Is it expensive? Yes, for pub food. But no more than I would expect to pay in a four star hotel located right in the middle of one of the major airports in the USA. I followed the advice of another critic and ordered the Pizza. Fresh tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and a crispy thin crust. Delicious! Washed down with two glasses of delicious house Pinot Noir. I left there impressed with the food, the wine and the service and will eat there again whenever I stay at BOS
Well worth it!. I recently had a chance to spend the night at the Hilton logan. I had dinner at the restaurant and i thought the food was pretty good. Beets and arugula salad was delicious. Lobster roll wasn't packed with onions and celery, but with a ton of lobster meat tossed in light mayo. The cranberry crips was quite good aswell. Bar area is large if you find yourself alone and there is plenty of TVs to catch a game.
Good food and atmosphere but the service is terrible and the prices for food are crazy. I guess since the is no other choice for food they can charge 21 bucks for fish n chips.
I got the build your own burger and it was quite tasty. Kept it simple with Pepper jack and Sweet potato fries (which originally came out as regular fries, no biggie).
My wife got the Guinness Pie which was super tender and there was quite a bit of meat. The crust was quite tasty but the meat was bland. Salt and pepper helped that.
A convenient and delicious place to eat! While it wasn’t ideal that our flight was cancelled and we needed to spend a night in the hotel, the food and service made up for our inconvenience. Good bar area and got seated quickly. You won’t be disappointed.
The staff works their behinds off. So many people wanting to eat in the only restaurant in the hotel caused a traffic jam, but they handled it with smiles and efficiency. The clam chowder is very good
My server, Damaris, was amazing. I explained I was vegan and was wondering about the menu. We thought together about it and she recommended the red pepper hummus plate, which was great. She also let me know there was a Sam Adams red not on the menu, of which I ordered two. Still hungry, I ordered the pretzel (I love Bavarian pretzels) w/o cheese sauce. Unasked she returned minutes later to say there was some butter in the pretzel and it wouldn't be good for me. Amazing service and I got fries instead which hit the spot w/ another Sam red! Thx Damaris! Hilton take note.
Friendly service albeit a bit slow. Appetizers were fantastic easily 9/10. Entrees were a mixed bag, the BBQ burger was a solid 9/10 while steak was a 6/10.
Wonderful food and friendly service. I highly recommend the Guinness Pie and the Lobster Roll.
The food was good, decent and good tasting. All you can expect from an airport pub, the staff were friendly and accommodating as well. Overall a decent experience for a Restaurent with easy access at the lobby of the hotel.
Excellent service. The burrata salad was fresh and tasty. Fresh catch was cod. It had a good flavor, wasn't overcooked, and was well seasoned. Fries had a great flavor. It was very busy, and I had about a fifteen minute wait, but the food was worth it. Full bar available. Overall great experience. It is extremely convenient if you are staying at the Hilton. I found the prices average.
Janja is a great server and made sure all of my food was perfect. Great new york strip.
Standard airport hotel eatery.
A healthy pour goes a long way! My fish & chips were perfectly prepared, light beer battered moist cod fillet crunchy steak fries and a really good slaw.
