Outstanding meals! Hubby's Chicken Saltimbocca received raves. I shared a special of Grilled Chicken Risotto with my mom. That was an explosion of flavor! Perfectly grilled and tender chicken, Italian greens and creamy risotto. Excellent and attentive service, with a nice wine list. Only small negative is the level of noise. Mom had to turn down her hearing aids.

Low key place. Not too crowded. Real friendly staff (our waiter brought us fresh Parmesan instead of the normal). Pretty expensive but it’s the north end so it’s all expensive. Bread and dipping sauce were good! Got the chicken parm and it was delicious!

I hadn’t visited here in a while & hoped the food was still excellent. It is! Our appetizers & meals (for a party of 4) were delicious. The quality & freshness of ingredients was evident (which can be tough to find at many US restaurants these days). I had a haddock special simmered in a light, sweet tomato cream sauce. My partner said his seafood trio with white sauce was one of the best meals he’s had all year. The prosciutto on our salad was excellent quality. Our friends also enjoyed their food. As an Italian woman raised with grandparents from Italy, I appreciate how they focus on traditional old school Italian specialties (but with a gourmet spin here & there). Service was attentive & polite. The corner tables near the door you can feel a bit of a cold draft, but we dined on a milder winter night & enjoyed the quieter corner for good conversation. I’ve always preferred Salem St. restaurants over ones on Hanover, and this further confirms for me.

Place looks wonderful with a lot of very good starters, for the entrees our group was divided if very good or mediocre. Overall nice place, good Italian food, but pricy

Amazing food and service!!! Highly recommend. We got the calamari, tortellini pesto, lobster ravioli, and veal parm. Everything was 10/10. Thank you!!

Absolutely loved dinner here. We sat at the window and watched the Feast parade go by along with delicious calamari as our appetizer. The haddock was the best Italian dish I've had to date! Service was prompt and efficient and prices very reasonable. I indulged in the chocolate mousse for desert and it did not disappoint! I'll definitely visit here again when in Boston.

We had just a wonderful time here… The server was really great, the calamari and bruschetta were very good! I had some of the best wine I’ve ever had hahaha The pasta and sausage was amazing - as expected… I hope to come back!

There’s a bench across the street from the North End Creamery, right under one of LoConte’s front windows. We’ve sat there more than a couple of times this past summer gobbling down ice cream, kind of wondering if we were trespassing. Tonight was different. A man in a white apron emerged from LoConte’s (name is Barry, we learned later), and as we sat there eating dessert from elsewhere, he offered us a glass of water. (?!) His atmosphere was one of kindness, with no hint of “get off my lawn.” I was dumbstruck by his gesture. That sold us on LoConte’s. We’re going back for dinner…. and we’ll report back on our experience!

On my first girls' trip to Boston we visited this place on a recommendation from a friend. At first we got there a bit early and it was empty so we were concerned but we went in anyway and so glad we did. The service was extremely friendly and personal even as other patrons started to arrive. All of us ordered meals that were on the specials menu and they were all very delicious. Personally I got shrimp and asparagus rigatoni and it was very tasty. From the bread and dipping oil down to the limoncello shot at the end, we enjoyed it all. As we were leaving the placed was filling up so turns out we were just a little early for the dinner crowd.

Had a wonderful team dinner here. Was amazed that they served our huge party quickly with every plate leaving the kitchen steaming hot. Everyone enjoyed their meal - I had an alfredo sauce broccoli and pasta dish that was really yummy.
