My girlfriends and I come here all the time for tapas nights. The sangrias are the best I’ve ever had, the food is all impeccable, and the ambiance is wonderful. Plus, the tapas night is a steal for $35 with multiple drinks and a full dinner. This is the best tapas restaurant in the city, with bigger servings, better prices, and more consistently delicious food and drink than any of the others I’ve been to, including Barcelona. If I could give this place ten stars i would. I have been here probably 7 times now.
I adored the ambiance at Tasca. The paellas - Both the seafood the Valenciana (meat version) were spectacular. The Gambas al ajillo were to die for. The Pata Negra Ribera del Duero wine was esquisite. Let's talk about the service - top notch - starting with the Valet parking and finishing with those little touches that makes a guest feel special. Next time I visit Boston, I am for sure visiting this gem of a soanish restaurant!!!
It’s the taste of another nation that perfectly executed at Tasca. I ventured out and ordered some the amazing quail, and tasted most of my friend’s delicious selection. They have parking vouchers for free parking. Excellent evening spent with family.
What a great tapas place. We went for my birthday last week and ordered tapas for the table to enjoy. Even our pickiest eaters loved the food. There is something for everyone! What I really loved was that the menu had allergy and food restrictions listed. After having visited Spain recently, I wanted to celebrate my birthday with Spanish food, and Tasca did not disappoint!
We just moved to the neighborhood and went to a flamenco show. The atmosphere was very festive, and made me miss Spain. I loved that they have a list for vegetarian and vegan tapas, although vegan is not every clearly pointed. Eggplant with miel is not with miel (honey), but sugar which would make it vegan. The dish is beautifully presented in way that when I ordered the table next ours asked about and ordered too. White sangria was delicious too! Memorable night! Love the food! "Olé! to the show! I have a list of people I want to bring next time.
Charming and lively place. Very much like being in Spain. Festive atmosphere, big main room with warm colors and friendly, cozy feel. Food was authentic tapas and other dishes. Stand outs were the special pork skewer, sliced steak appetizer with sauce, shrimp in garlic sauce, octopus and potatoes, and breaded fried chorizo. Paella was surprisingly not awesome but everything else was memorable. Bartender was excellent shaking spicy margaritas, mojitos, and lots more. Enthusiastic friendly staff all covering for each other like one happy family. They have an agreement with Whole Foods down the street and restaurant will provide a dated flyer to put on your dash for free parking in big Whole Foods lot two minute walk away. Great idea. Excellent dessert menu too with plenty of choices.
I freaking loved my dining experience here! The staff was so friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, truthful (about recommendations and dishes) as well as accommodating. Not only was the staff amazing but the food, tapas and paella was top notch! Everything I had the pleasure of tasting was seasoned well and delivered promptly. Just make sure that if you will eat a paella you account for the time it takes to cook, it’s made from scratch so you might wait 20-30 minutes for it. The great thing about that is that the tapas are a small morsel that can keep you at bay while you wait for it. If you take the train it will be much easier however if you drive make sure you call ahead and get a parking ticket so you can park at whole foods on the opposite corner. The music was soft, the lighting romantic and the overall vibe very cozy. Just keep in mind there are some steps to get into the main dining area.
Passed by here for so long and finally had a chance to try this spot! We went at 730pm on a Sunday and there wasn't a wait. We sat outdoors since the weather was so nice. We were the only table outside but our waiter was still very attentive and not overbearing. Made sure we were ok and didn't need anything. He gave us good and honest recommendations.
We got the squid ink paella with cuttlefish and squid. This was very delicious and flavorful. If you plan to order a paella - order it first then decide what you else you want to order because it takes about 25 mins to cook.
The eggplant sticks were different, perfectly crisped (even though eggplant is wet) while still moist inside. The skirt steak was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Everything was on point that we will be back soon!
This is a Spanish tapas restaurant, so you get to enjoy a variety of dishes instead of one large main course after one appetizer, etc. They have a wide selection of Tapas dishes, including vegetarian options in addition to non-vegetarian. Good wine and drink selection. Service was outstanding. Because our group was ordering and eating a series of many small dishes instead of one main course like conventional American restaurants, the servers make a lot of trips back and forth to the table and they were excellent. Atmosphere is a little bit on the boisterous side but that was fine. Parking can be a bit tricky during the peak periods.
Pretty crowded, very noisy. It’s not right place to have a great conversation. BUT, the Polo Ajilio and empanadas is the most!
A longstanding independent restaurant. We went twenty years ago and again last month after returning to the area. Still great. Authentic setting, great food, attentive service. So much to enjoy. Parking will be a challenge. Easy accessibility from B green line T.
It's been too long since I last dined here but they reminded me of what I was missing. There was a great selection of tapas with several new ones. The staff was very friendly and the tapas came out quickly. Great selection of wines and cocktails. They have valet parking at a nearby lot.
