We decided to visit on our last day, simply because it was close to our apartment. It was one of the best decisions while staying in Boston.
Sophia was a very friendly and welcoming host, and I really appreciated her recommendations.
You absolutely have to try their buttermilk biscuits. We call them scones in the UK, and those are superb by any UK standard. They can serve them with afternoon tea for all I care.
We then tried their pork and brisket combo. Both were absolutely fantastic, and with the sides, the portion was big enough for the two of us.
If you still have some space left, have a dessert to share. We tried the pudding, which is served in a jar, like everything else. Adds to the atmosphere.
So much food!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Sweet Cheeks.
We enjoyed a bucket of biscuits, pork belly, sliced brisket, chopped brisket, and pulled pork.
The sliced brisket was especially moist, tender, and flavorful. Kuddos to the staff.
Have to admit, I didn't expect a great Bbq place in Boston at all. Am so glad we had lunch there.
Kudos again to the staff!
Good food but at a bit of a cost. We enjoyed the wing rub & BBQ sauces. Burnt ends mixed into the chopped beef were delicious. Baked beans are a bit spicy, had some pretty large chunks of pork belly mixed in which was a surprise. The side salad was also tasty. Overall definitely recommend coming here. It’s a great spot to grab some quality food before a game at Fenway!
I have been here before with coworkers for dinner and loved it, so wanted to try takeout.
I ordered Friday pulled pork sandwhich and side deal they offer online and was very happy with my meal.
The food tasted great, the sandwich is on a toasted bun and generous amount of flavorful tender pork, plus the side of potato salad. It was almost too much for a lunch. It came with pickles and sauces too.
My only issue was that no one was manning the pickup counter so I had to walk into main restaurant to find a server. But otherwise they were very friendly and helpful.
Great value for the money, and a good Friday lunch option in Fenway
Delicious! Everything we ordered was phenomenal. You have got to try the honey butter with the biscuits. All of the choices of sides are amazing, and the best choice of meat is the chopped brisket. But all was amazing! 🤤
Delicious food, awesome atmosphere, and helpful server. 10/10 would recommend and definitely will be coming back! Cocktails were really good and well made! :)
Sweet Cheeks Que is a Texas style bbq restaurant. That means the primary protein is beef brisket. It's slow cooked and delicious! The sauce is good and the sides are well made. They even have brewed iced tea! The meat is both chopped and sliced.
Wheelchair folks will do fine and vegetarians can get sides.
I reserved a large group reservation for a business dinner, and the Sweet Cheeks Q team was absolutely wonderful to work with. Cruz in catering was a huge help with booking the event and answering all of my questions, and the staff were wonderful with managing the table despite the large size of the party. They were even able to put together a vegan option for one of the attendees. Everyone loved the food and the experience. Very impressed with the team, and would definitely recommend it!
First...impressive service.
Second...biscuits that lived up to the hype.
Third...a Cuban sandwich that was beyond Earthly imagination was what I had.
Poe himself could not come up with the correct words to describe the beauty of this sandwich.
Though the ranch beans were delicious, the sandwich and biscuits will be my Sweet Cheeks Q takeaway back to NY.
Get there. Totally worth it.
Stopped in for dinner tonight for the first time. Let me say this, this place did not let us down! The food was absolutely incredible, and the waitress was super nice and helpful. If I lived here, I'd definitely visit this place weekly!!
