Tucked in South End, this little establishment surprised me when by accident I found it driving these streets. Very warm and cozy place, perfect for a morning date on one of the tables outside. The pumpkin spiced latte was subtle on the spice, which I like and the Chicken Milanese sandwich was delicious! The price was a bit on the expensive side but worth it. I’m very happy to have found this place.
An excellent place for brunch. They have a large drink menu, and the food items were delicious. Highly recommend.
Great atmosphere. Cute place on a corner with a good variety of breakfast options. We had 2 types of Eggs Benedict and stake and eggs. All plates were delicious. Had a bottle of Brutt for mimosas but the orange juice comes in small containers need to upgrade.
I came here on a weekday morning with a friend and had the lox and cream cheese bagel. It was pretty good, my only qualm was that they were heavy handed with the cream cheese. The ratio of cream cheese to the other fillings was off.
Otherwise, I’d go back and definitely want to try the pastries!
Really good place to go! Easy to go, nearby t station! The place has wifi and restroom inside.
They serve breakfast/brunch and dinner!
We went there to try the dinner! We reserved a spot around 7:30 and the restaurant closes at 8:00 but we could order and eat calmly inside!
The attendant was really kind but she tried to take out our plates without we finish it (not once but twice).
The food is really good, that taste is amazing and it's a fair place!
This roasted vegetable sandwich was life changing. I cannot wait to go back.
Great cold brewed tea. Loved having lunch here
This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Boston and has been a neighborhood favorite since they first opened. In addition to serving some of the best coffee you can buy, they have plenty of sweets and treats. The menu has grown to include about a dozen sandwiches and lunch options which are convenient to eat at the cafe or to grab-n-go.
The restaurant, which is open for dinner and brunch is a good place to meet up with a friend or another couple For dinner, I'm partial to the burger which is consistently good. Weekend brunches at The Buttery tend to book quickly so definitely make a reservation if you go.
Stumbled upon the South End Buttery on our first night in Boston and ended up grabbing a glass of wine with the husband. The bartender was super friendly and served us even though it was after the time they stopped taking reservations. He had a few parties in there, but we knew it was time to wrap up shop with how late it was so we were very thankful he let us grab a drink.
We ended up stopping by again for breakfast and coffee a few days later. I had the chocolate almond croissant while my husband tried their breakfast burrito. My croissant was very sweet but still good, and the burrito was good.
This is a good option for an easy breakfast if you're in the south end of Boston. Would go back again if we were in the neighborhood!
The food and atmosphere is fabulous here ! We came for a very special birthday for my husband and the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more attentive. Even our three kids were impressed with everything and that is not easy to achieve. We loved every dish, the drinks, and the setting on the outside patio.
We even looked inside to see a wonderful dining room and fireplace! We had a wonderful time and I can’t say enough nice things. Note - the bakery is fabulous as well. After dinner, we took home muffins and scones for our breakfast the next day!
Fantastic waitstaff at this restaurant. Very attentive. Great brunch food. I had the French toast. Great place for large parties too. I went here with my new girlfriends. We will return!
